This is helping. It even gave me an insight into my hip which I think caused the knee issue. It showed me how much i had been turning my foot outward. And this feels safe. I actually did it without the band. I'll work on that next. Thank you doc.

Last year, I was taught the prone knee bend . I was in PT for my lower back. I thought it was stretching my quad and hamstring. I have OA, so I want to walk pain-free down the stairs . Without getting looks to take the elevator. 😂

Great, Monique! I hope the video helps! Yes, the prone knee bend does stretch the quads, which are often tight when you have low back pain. So do keep stretching and taking the stairs!😊

If there is a tendon or ligament tear in the knee, how long does it takes to recover
@Re-Kinect
@Re-Kinect Жыл бұрын
It depends on the severity of the tear, and what gets torn. Tendons can take anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months to feel 100% functional, and you will want to go through physical therapy before resuming regular activity. Ligaments are more complicated. Because they don't have the blood supply tendons do, they don't tend to improve as quickly. Ligament tears often require surgery for repair, and will take 3-6 months of good physical therapy and post-therapy to fully recover. If you suspect you have torn a tendon or ligament, please have it evaluated by your physician.
