For knee pain fix, I believe this video is the best one. A lot of youtube videos doesn't teach with a correct way, but this one does.

The lecture in the video is the best way to relax the knee pain. However, this way also is to be very difficult to make knee pain free for stair down because downing stair is intrinsically difficult and bad for your knee. That means, avoid down staring but uses elevator. If you can't avoid down staring, please try the way this video teaches very very slow moving.

What does your upper body do when you get to the stop of a step? Are you still hinged or standing straight up?

I have tried this but my stair is not wide enough to put my heel down on it. Any helpful tips?
@WeShape Жыл бұрын
Vivien Harris That's an awesome question! The main goal while going up the stairs is to try and put more weight into the back of your foot rather than putting it all in the front. Putting your heel flat on the ground and driving through the heel is the easiest way to do this, but you can still put more weight onto the back of your foot without your entire foot being flat on the ground. It's tricky and will take practice, but it can be done! Here's a similar and more recent video where Tyler explains this technique more thoroughly and mentions the above -------->> kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2nPmHWup8esatE Let us know if this video is more clear or helps you out more! Keep us posted on the progress!

How about pains not only at the knees but also in the hip joint?
@WeShape Жыл бұрын
Wang Suyi That's a really good question, Wang! Having good form while performing movements like these can often help alleviate pain in more than one area. If you have hip pain, then make sure to do this movement nice and slow at first until you are more comfortable and familiar with engaging your hips and legs in this manner. There is no need to rush and hurt yourself. Practice makes perfect, so take all the time you need to perfect the movement and see how much that helps with your knees and hips! Let us know how it goes!

Real stairs are only about 10” wide so your entire foot will not fit on a stair.
