@@patricklimon827 That's not quite true... sometimes a video or two might get posted on youtube before I have a chance to label videos for integration into the App Video Search Tree.... but you actually have access to 100s of videos that are not on KZbin, and most of the newest videos have never been published on KZbin. Good day! Im a Physical Therapist student in Germany and watch your videos regularly. My teacher taught us this same exact Method and ive played around with it in the Past. My question however is, how one could modify it so that the knee is not in contact with any surface whatsoever. I myself and comrades with particularly Bad knees (squatting, soccer etc) found the stretch to be too harsh since it puts a lot oft stress on it. Do you have an idea how to get around this issue without losing too many benefits this stretch offers? I couldnt find anyone that came up with a satisfying alternative. Thanks!

Hey Dave, I find a thick pad cures the knee issue 9 out of 10 times… like an Airex pad. You could do a staggered stance, standing version with posterior pelvic tilt, but you loose the rectus femoris stretch. Dr. B2

Hey Eztse, Potentially if not done with good form. If it does exacerbate symptoms I would recommend getting some one-on-one coaching from a professional. Dr. B2

Mr Brookbush, if TFL is flexible but the rectus fermoris is tight, the "couch stretch" could be used right?

Hi Brent, how often would you recommend doing this Stretch? How hard should we push fwd the hips and for how long?

If you have assessed over-activity and a decrease in hip extension ROM, you can do the stretch 2 times per day until you gain back normal range. Dr. B2

wait wouldnt u rotate the other way with ur arm to get the max stretch on iliopsoas?

No because psoas facially blends into the adductors so if u rotate the other way you are increasing internal rotation and adduction which brings the two parts of psoas together
