Can you make the soju glass designs into candle votive holders as an alternate option please? I rarely drink alcohol and never drink soju, but I light candles almost every day. It would be great to have this beautiful design as a candle votive so that it's more adaptable for non-drinkers and as gift-giving.

As a Fan of 90s Hiphop. I'm very happy about this collab. I like that BTS don't choose their collabs in terms who's the hottest and most successful Artist at the moment, just to gain even more popularity and money. They are actually Fans of Snoop and it fits, especially Yoongi or Namjoon have deep HipHop roots. They even started as a HipHop group. So I'm excited.

Snoop is a hip hop legend. Legends can’t be described by relevancy… it makes no sense. Snoop is what you call an OG. tbh it’s disrespectful to question his relevancy when it’s not an issue that even pertains to him. Snoop doesn’t need anything. Not clout, not money, not exposure, not opportunity, not some need to prove himself, not awards… he’s got 19 studio albums not counting his collab albums. He doesn’t have the hype of a new artist cause he doesn’t need it, everyone already knows who he is. And people who actually listen to American rap and hip hop do know his recent music as well as his radio hits well into the 2000s. Also he’s 50yrs old and y’all compare him to hip hop artist on the come up who weren’t even alive years after he was already a rap success and who frankly likely will not have as long or successful of a career as him. It doesn’t make sense. Also I’m pretty sure BTS and HYBE aren’t gonna do a collab unless they feel they have something to gain from it. Anyways…. 😅 I don’t even rep for snoop like this, but some of these takes on this collab with BTS are just not based on reality or facts.

I think the bts-snoop dog collab is great! In my opinion, the reason why bts isnt very big with the older generations is because bts and their more recent music (referring to the songs they promote with) have a disney channel vibe. I dont think the general 30 year olds and older audience are attracted to look up bts music if all that has been presented to them is very pop- family friendly songs. However that audience grew up with snoop dogg and the 90s hip hop scene, so I think this collab can make that audience interested in seeing what will come out from this collab. Or at least they may vibe with the song more if it does take a hip hop/ old bts route. I remember when psy and snoop dogg collab came out and everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) was looking forward to see an unexpected collab happen. We know that bts has a strong, powerful force when it comes to hip hip, and as long as the song showcases that talent then I think this collab could bring in more older fans. [Btw, I'm 25 and am surrounded by 30 year old or older people at work and I hear their music interests often (hip hop, r&b, rock are the most popular). So I hope they too like the song cause I love meeting older ARMYs :)]

“Sticks and stones will break your bones, but names will never hurt you.” Being insulted by comedians is normal at the Oscars. Turning the other cheek is supposed to be the mature thing to do. Beating someone up at a public event (or anywhere else) is considered immature and something guys trying to prove their masculinity do. At bars. While drunk. In the eyes of many Americans, Will Smith was doing this for himself and his own pride, not for his wife. His actions actually made her look worse. She is a grown up who does not need that kind of “protection”. He also ruined the Oscars for Quest-love and the group of winners who were announced right after that. Their special moment was all about him.

Whoever came up with that lie about sticks and stones should be arrested. Some words can hurt worse than a slap! You know how many people are bullied with words? Many people bully with words because they know they can get away with it because since they didn't touch you you can't do anything. Words can sometimes have more impact than something physical.
@imscenery

Mostly with you on this one. I hate that 'sticks and stones' saying because it is often used as an excuse for bullying. But this was not bullying. Jada is a celebrity, not a regular person, with all of the benefits and drawbacks that come with it. Chris Rock did not really even make fun of her. He used a movie reference to point out that she was bald. She did not look hurt or upset. She looked like she thought it was a lame joke - which, to be fair, it was. This was not the first time that either one of them have been lightly roasted and it comes with the territory of being a famous actor. They are not anywhere close to being new to this situation or unaware of how it should be handled because they have both being doing this for decades. And this is not like the cases of random people constantly abusing them on the internet - so his response was way out of proportion. Also, they were in the front row at the Oscars. Go back and watch the opening monologue of EVERY Academy Awards for the past several decades and you will see that the nominees and people sitting in the front row are always roasted a little. Billy Crystal is famous for doing it in song form whenever he hosted. Then we have to consider the fact that Will Smith was not just representing himself. He was there as a nominee for a movie where he played a real person whose family was present at the ceremony. From the reactions afterward, I don't think any member of the Williams family were pleased and I cannot blame them. From now until forever, whenever that award or movie is brought up, no one is going to talk about the movie, the man who inspired it, the result of their hard work, or even other awards the movie might have received. It is always going to be, "Hey, wasn't that the year that Will Smith forgot that he was an adult, a professional, and on live TV and decided to act like a teenage thug?"
@juannifer32
@juannifer32 2 жыл бұрын
@@imscenery One I saw Jada's face as well she looked shocked at the joke and then rolled her eyes the camera doesn't go back to her for us to see her expression after that. Two you don't really think he meant that joke as a compliment right? As you said comedians are roasting them to humiliate not to give compliments. GI Jane didn't shave her head for losing hair because she had an illness GI jane had a choice in the matter she shaved her head for a spot in the military that's not Jada's situation. We know Jada and Will knew they would be roasted and they probably prepared for it and I strongly believe they thought all the jokes would be about their entanglement. Other comedians that were at the Oscar's even made jokes about the entanglement Will and Jada laughed. Chris is the only one who brought up Jada's having no hair! Even if Chris didn't know about Jada having alopecia he knew how black women are ridiculed for their hair or lack there of. It's ironic that Chris did a whole documentary about black women's hair and then made a joke about Jada having no hair. Chris was very Insensitive and he knew better but just didn't care. Me personally I am against physical and verbal attacks so I think they both were wrong. Many people seem to downplay words as if words aren't powerful some words hurt worse than a slap. People need to learn even though you can say what you want to say you can't control how someone reacts to your words. People take advantage all the time of the fact that there are no consequences for what they say no matter how hurtful people are taught to ignore it or brush it off but when is enough enough? And calling Will a thug? So is Alec Baldwin and Shia LaBeouf thugs as well?

No one's acting like Will did the worst thing ever but what he did was wrong. Don't get me started with the "don't joke with someone's family" type of bs. The joke Chris made was aimed directly at Jada, not at Will about Jada. There's a big difference. Will was laughing at the light hearted joke; Jada was not. Two seconds later Will gets emotional. Before you judge the US too harshly: 1) A lot of people thought the Chris Rock joke was rude but in the US you don't get to slap someone. (Well, until Will Smith). Smith should have used his words to shut it down. It is painful when a loved one is mocked and worthy of a response, but not worth having the police involved. 2) Yesterday on Nakd Seoul you all commented on the appearance of Bang Si-hyuk as large headed and unattractive. Seams mean! Also, when BTS was a rookie band, didn't Koreans think RM was ugly, J-Hope had a horse face, and Jimin was fat? These were also VERY hurtful comments!!!!!!!!!!!

Only Anna made a comment about Bang PD and she apologised right after. As Danny said in the video it all comes from the fact that Jada isn't liked in the US, because people know about her past "relationship" and in Korea they don't know almost anything about her. So they view Will Smith's actions as reasonable. But in the eyes of the West, Will seems like a coward, doing everything Jada asks, even though he should have left her a long time ago.

Chris did not know about Jada's condition with the hair loss. It was a joke about her haircut and GI Jane, a strong powerful woman who overcame the odds and kicked butt in a movie...was it even a bad joke?...not really...Will already had issues going on within him about the whole affair Jada was having with the younger man..and how Jada emasculated him on her show by saying the affair was Will's fault because he was a bad lover and couldn't love her the way she wanted. So Will, to save whatever little manhood he had left, tried to show that he was still the man, got up and slapped Chris. Jada's condition...non-life threatening a small sliver of her scalp where she had lost hair...she decided to shave her hair and said she likes it and doesn't care about what anyone says...still Chris did not know about it. Will has been known to makes jokes about bald guys...oh the hypocrisy. Jada is a narcissistic woman. Knetz are whack if they feel that slap was called for...Chis did what he was hired to do, be a comedian and was not in the least bit wrong. You don’t resolve conflict with violence. His actions took away from all the other Oscar winners, the fact that the Oscars were hosted by three women & an all black staff was producing the show. He is only the 5th African American male to win an Oscar in its 90+ year history. So his Oscar win & the setting was important because a lot of effort has been put into having more diversity at the Oscars. He embarrassed himself & the African American community on national tv. We are already seen around the world as violent, aggressive & dangerous. His behavior played right into that stereotype for all the world to see. That is what I find the most disappointing. He tarnished his name, reputation and his moment to shine with this foolishness.

Definitely a west vs East thing. Will was out of line; comedians make fun of people. Ever seen a Hollywood roast? Been to a comedy club? Dave Chapelle is prime example. Words do not beget violence. I’ve been reading people saying you don’t go after someone’s wife, family a no-go area, Jada’s hair issue…Jada is an actress in her own right (ever see Matrix movies) - not just Will’s wife/family, and male baldness is also sometimes alopecia and there are ALL kinds of bald jokes. Will laughed before he saw her unamused and decided to act by rushing on stage and slapping a comedian for a quick joke - WORDS - that he didn’t like. Where’s the line of what is/isn’t acceptable? Who gets to decide that line? Will showed us the person he was, made it even worse because they asked him to leave and he refused, he then won the award (no apology to Chris is speech even though Chris could have had him arrested IN the awards show but chose not to), went out and partied all night, and then the next day made an apology of “I’m sorry, Chris, but…” which isn’t an apology. He resigned from academy because he knew he f’ed up and wanted to resign before they told him to leave. I’ve read that since Will violated code of conduct that they “could” take his award away…maybe that would be fair? That’s for the academy to decide. We have free speech in US and this is part of it - things are said that some people don’t like. But it’s all protected AND words said should never cause a physical response. Will was out of line. Period.

I don't even think Chris knew she had alopecia. Will Smith assaulting a man ( half his size) in front of the Academy, the audience and viewers at home was disrespectful to everyone. I hope people, esp. children, weren't traumatized. You don't get up from your seat at the Oscars, walk on stage and physically abuse a man, walk with a swag back to your seat with a grin on your face, and almost break his jaw bc of some little joke. Smith was out of control and deranged. He should have been escorted out of the building and subdued. Chris Rock was hired to do a job, and should sue Will Smith and the academy. in the black community, the joke of calling black women GI Jane is very offensive. Claiming that black women are masculine because they have short hair is something that leads down to rasicim/ sexism. It may seem like nothing if you don't know the culture behind the joke

Exactly! And if he and his wife were even offended there is a way to deal with that. Address him backstage or confront him with your words. The hosts are literally paid to come there is roast the audience. And also Chris Rock or whoever wrote the joke my not have even known that she suffers from a very mild condition. They may have just wrote the joke thinking it’s a personal hair choice. Which by the way if I’m giving my opinion it’s nothing to be offended by. She is factually bald and the GI Jane character was bald. And also since when was being compared to GI Jane an insult. People defending assault over a joke about hair style that she chooses to rock because she could just wear a wig are crazy.

@@nanaomani She has an auto-immune disease. It's not just a "hair style she chooses to rock". She's insecure about her hair loss. She'd be insecure about it in a wig because she has no control over the loss of her hair. Some people who are losing their hair feel MORE insecure about wearing a wig...perhaps THAT'S why she chose to shave her head instead. Either way, she has the right to present herself in whatever way she chooses, and if someone makes a stupid joke about her appearance she is well within her rights to be offended by that joke. Her reaction was justified, given what she's going through. Her husband, however, was dead wrong and didn't have the right to put his hands on Chris Rock...full stop.

Do you not remember that JK, Hobi & Jimin did a remake of Young, Wild & Free by Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa, but it was called My Graduation instead and a whole heck of a lot cleaner than Snoop & Wiz, no scantily glad women, no blunts, & words all except Young, Wild & Free were changed, but it was the exact same music & tone of their song. Also Snoop is relevant, whether he’s made music or not, he wouldn’t have been part of the halftime show if he wasn’t. The difference in American vs Koreans reaction on the Oscar Slap is I don’t think Koreans always understand Americans humor, I don’t think what Will Smith did was appropriate to do on national television, he could have done it during the commercial break, the joke wasn’t that horrible, but because of Jada’s reaction, Will then decided to react, why when his wife cheated on him with her son’s friend of all people, I wouldn’t have ruined my reputation over a stupid joke, I think Jada has made a fool out of her family with this talk show she has or had, not sure if it’s still on,never watched it, but she shared private things herself and her family that should have stayed private, now I had no clue about her problem, don’t watch the Oscars only saw what happened because it was all over the news, but even finding out after words, it still wasn’t that horrible of a joke, even Will made the comment that in Hollywood you need to have thick skin and be able to take a joke, it has been done for years on all the award shows involving acting, People Choice awards had Ricky Gervais on who went WAY over the line with a joke he made and was band from hosting the show for awhile, no one is safe, when a comedian host an award show. I applaud Chris for keeping his cool, he so wanted to say something, but kept his cool, not a big fan of Chris Rock either, but violence is never the answer, and I believe they are taking the Oscar away from Will Smith now, will be interesting to see if Will’s career will end up in danger. I wasn't crazy about the collab with Megan but they've thought plenty about what fans want, it's OK for them to now check off some of their bucket list. It's time for the fans to not judge and just let them enjoy this little dividend of their hard work.

People didn't realize it's deeper than the joke. One Chris did a whole documentary about black women's hair and how we are discriminated for our hair. So even if Chris didn't know about alopecia he definitely knows when it comes to our hair and lack there of is a very sensitive topic. Now when it comes to white Americans they always stereotype us white Americans can slap , punch, or disrespect black people and you would never see this type of news coverage or anger! If Chris would have made that joke about a white woman with alopecia whether he knew or not majority of the white Americans would be dragging Chris Rock all over the internet! But unfortunately black women aren't respected by white society or by some black men so it's so many layers. I think Snoop will smoke no matter what.

Family jokes are just culturally unacceptable in Korea. There's just things that are more acceptable in Korea (ex. fatshaming) and in America (family jokes). Both can seem worse to the other. Also, most Koreans are not exactly praising him for using violence, they still think it could have been handled better. Koreans don't think violence is the answer either, especially on TV. But most do think that chris was worse than Will in this scenario, so they are confused why Chris didn't say sorry. They think Will being banned makes sense because of his poor reaction. But also think that, Will got his due, but Chris is just being praised for his professionalism. Chris was professional work-wise, Koreans also see that. But to Korean people, his actions before that don't just disappear. Also, Koreans don't know the backstory so it just looks like Chris did the one thing you don't do - insult someone's family - for no reason. So Koreans are generally confused haha but recognzie it as cultural difference

I agree with Ricky Gervais - if the joke was for Jada, it should have been directed towards her "entanglement" with her son's best friend; what a field day with his first name being a month of the year - so many possibilities! Jada had Will come onto her Red Table show and further publicly humiliated him by making him admit it was his fault she wasn't satisfied for her having the affair OR continuing to be in the marriage. Talk about a crime, her gaslighting her husband probably contributed to his blowing up in public; but that's been discussed in several of the many reactions. KNetz could probably give an eff about these people otherwise, am I right?? They only see and react to the superficial "yo, mama" joke and have no idea about the convoluted backstory to these Hollywood people.
@oliviajohnson1594

I also agree that if the joke was for her that it should have been directed to her but definitely NOT about the “entanglement “ that probably would have gotten him smacked as well. But about the whole red table talk thing… did you actually watch it because nothing of what you said is what actually happen. They decided (as a unit) to do the red table talk after August drop the bomb about his and Jada’s relationship. Will and Jada stated at the time that they were separated and Will okay the “entanglement”, and they also later shared they have an open marriage. They also talked about how Will had his own entanglement as well. How did she humiliated him if he already knew about August? How was she gaslighting him or the contributing factor of his blow up? The real contributing factor to his blowing up is people continuously painting this false narrative that Jada is a villain and that she’s a cheater when that not the case. With the Chris Rock situation Will shouldn’t have smacked him but Chris went off script to make a joke about Jada’s hair without knowing why she cut her hair and also understanding how black woman are very sensitive about their hair. This also is not the first time he made a tasteless joke about Jada at the Oscars. KNetz probably don’t know the background but they are not wrong in their opinion either, they have award shows just like we do and understand the importance of that event.

There are so many nuances that non-black people will never understand about the Will/Chris/Jada situation, so before people start saying Will was a brute and a thug for what he did, understand that there was a lot more going on than what was on the surface. Black women are the inspiration and creators behind SO much in pop culture, yet they’re constantly disrespected. Will defended his wife, a beautiful black woman, loudly, publicly, and fiercely. Sometimes the method is ugly but he got his point across.

As for Chris and Will I think what rubbed people the wrong way is that at formal events there's social etiquette on how to conduct yourself and Chris never broke those rules but Will did. I do not like that comedians aren't held to a formal level of jokes though. I just don't see why it should be okay to joke at people's expense when everybody should be in a celebration mood. I think they shouldn't joke about the guests appearance, religion, sexuality, family, illnesses, and probably not scandals either. Chris had in the past made fun of Jada by joking about Beyoncés panties as well and I just wish the joke level was kept to a higher standard. I wish they could save those type of jokes to their own shows but straighten up their act some more for the formal stuff.

Chris Rock didn’t directly make a joke about alopecia. Just because someone said something publicly, doesn’t mean he knows it for sure anyway. Jada was mildly upset, the videos showed her looking annoyed (the reaction was not super extreme). She might have stood up for herself or asked Will to deal with it. Could she not have stood up for herself? Will, just looking at her annoyed face, went up on live television being aired to millions of people, and slapped Chris. Can he not use words? They couldn’t have talked about it privately after? Or even yell up at the stage if SO aggravated? Physically hitting someone so publicly and then justifying it is gross and immature. Even if he was going to hit him, that the right area and time? It just shows the rashness and whim of his action. But does anyone need a man to stand up for them by hitting someone? Not anyone I know. Not me either.

I don't think that BTS and Snoop Dogg is random. If you have been following BTS from their early debut and their American Hustle Life you know that BTS early actually also rooted from American Hiphop scene, with the other main influence would be Seotaiji. Snoop Dogg is actually one of many legends that BTS been praising so it's not really surprising that among a lot of artists they choose to collab with Snoop. He's also a vibe, which is what I think BTS aimed for lately. To create music that vibes. Newer fans might think that it's a random combination, well it is, IF we only considered BTS' music style and Snoop's musical activity these past few years. But if we think about how they used to be? It's not that random. Also, I am actually anticipating this collab because I've been waiting for them to make music in their old style. Heavy in hiphop and not just bouncy feel good disneyish music. Which is what I hope this comeback would be. Though, if they made happy music, it'll be fun too. And please, why do we even talk about relevancy here??? You don't doubt a legend's relevancy. Compared with recent rappers that rely in autotune and mumble rap, Snoop Dogg is MUCH more relevant.

He literally has always been doing weird and crazy random stuff since as long as I can remember. But I think it's not like a "fun project" but someone who is spending time getting cultured anywhere and everywhere he wants to and can... cooking with Martha Stewart is something no other rappers really do regularly and still hold their street cred. lmfao! But he does that shit. I love to see celebrities like him, that are so widely respected and who have high street cred, go out and do what other artists would think is wild and never something they would do. He's pretty much an icon/legend in the US.. I would appreciate seeing other artists inviting more Kpop openly, too. Honestly, I'm digging that Kpop has been becoming more popular in the US and I actually hope someone like Snoop [as all the other western artists keep doing] shows that it's fine to like Kpop... as I feel it still is deemed "weird" by a large number of people in the US. ....I'll be honest, I am kinda high typing all this, myself.....

Will, Jada, Willow and Jaden are all fair game for comedians, they’re all multi-millionaire celebrities in their own right, with their own successful careers. Comedians will always roast the font row at award shows, it’s Hollywood tradition. The joke was tame. There were jokes on Will and Jada’s marriage/sex life by Regina Hall and Laverne Cox that evening that were wayyyyy more offensive than Chris’ joke. As a professional entertainer attending the Oscars means accepting the possibility one could be the subject of a joke, be it positive or negative. It is part of the 'show.' Jada Pinkett Smith portrays herself as an 'enlightened and empowered' woman. As such, she should have taken care of this situation herself. Imagine had she stood up, faced the audience and declared - GI Jane rocks!! In doing so she would have taken control of the situation and gained a positive platform from which to speak about her issue. Certainly one's significant other should 'have one's back' and support them. But, the response to an verbal insult should never be physical violence.

He hates staying in a hip-hop bubble like most artists do and he loves working with all kinds of artists. he does all kinds of things. i mean he even streams and has a freaking cook-book. this collab is not surprising at all and i can't wait to see it. i quit listening to BTS in recent years and maybe Snoop will help them get back to their hip-hop roots as well.

Remember when Will Smith’s wife said that she doesn’t care what anybody think about her hair? But that’s beside the point. I think it’s pathetic that Will Smith, a f*cking grown a*s man, had to step up for his wife (in the worst possible way may I add) over a joke. It may shock some of you but it’s never ok to slap someone even when you are famous. Also why didn’t she step up and do it herself? Both of them were extremely pathetic that day and props for Chris Rock for handling their childish behavior professionally like an adult should when dealing with childish behavior. And if anybody wandering, no I don’t hate Will Smith. I think he is a pretty good actor but that doesn’t excuse what he did. Also I’m not a Chris Rock fan. I didn’t even knew he existed before the incident. I’m just telling my opinion on the matter. At least some of the memes are funny.
