Yes, I agree with you @LadyHawk in that poor Alex has been bothered by so many females/intruders and just can’t get a break and had been through so much heartache too. I do pray he will be able to move on and get his new friend/mate back and they could live in possible harmony too. You always say, “Trust the Eagles” and I know Alex will be just fine once he can get through all of the trials he has to go through. My takeaway... that intruder is going to survive into adulthood. Wow, but she's bold, fierce, and fearless. All that ruckus and Alex was unable to flush her. I'm now worried that F1 has had an unfortunate encounter with her because I can't imagine F1 not turning up at the nest for two days. She's been relentless in that regard and follows Alex like a magnet. I like her a lot as Alex has come to trust her. I hope she is okay. Prayers for the eagles.

Hi WWG - just because F1 is not here for a couple of days does not mean that anything happened to her - she could be biding her time. Remember V3 (Beau) would defend the nest against intruders and then be gone for a few days up to a week and then show back up. I think we will see F1 again. Remember two eagles against one is not good odds - F1 is probably watching from a distance! I like her too and hope that we see her again soon!

Alex probably figured that he’s done what he thought was gonna get rid of this intruder and had to leave to recharge. His eggs are not going to hatch cause they had been left out and not warm. So they are unviable as I’ve heard in other nests.🕊️😞🦅❤️🥚🥚

I know with normal mates they do it to delay incubation but in this case and another that I've been watching I personally am guessing that it's a way of saying "hey these aren't mine and I want some so I'm going to hide these". But as I said it's just a guess.

OMG!! Poor Alex having to go through all of this trouble but however, he did do an awesome job at trying to get rid of this intruder and she was being way too persistent in showing him she was wanting to stay and claim his nest and get rid of the eggs too. Alex isn’t ready yet or he would have done it himself but however, I do think he pretty much knows how eggs won’t hatch but he’s continuing to do this cause he still possibly misses his Andria which is kinda sad.😞🙏❤️🦅. Thank you Lady Hawk and I do continue to keep Alex in my prayers cause I always and only want the best for him and his future. @ladyhawk I find it very interesting that at first he's ready to fight F4 but then he lets her on the nest to practically cover up the eggs, albeit not completely. I find it further interesting that this visitor is trying to cover up the eggs on this nest and the other Nest V3 is trying to cover up the eggs. Seems so eerie but I know they're not related. Female are bigger and probably stronger. He knows he can't get himself injured especially since his mate is gone , he knows that , and why take a chance yo get injured, the eggs probably won't hatch, eagles have very strong instincts and are very smart , he would fight more if he had a mate and eaglets , he would probably fight to save thier lives , but not enough to lose his life. Since they know they can try next season
