The New York Knicks will be with out Mitchell Robinson in the first two months of the NBA season. Could they pivot and trade for a guy like Nick Richards from the Hornets ?

We are already guard heavy, and the guard position is one of the easiest position to fill in the NBA. So if parting with McBride is what it would take to bring in a serviceable, And hard to fill position, then it should be done. McBride can always be reacquired at a latter date, he’s not an all star caliber bench player. Nick Richard is a 5 that would give us the a better shot at staying in the running for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Ppl need to stop feeling that giving up backup talent is such a no go. We can love Deuce all we want, we can love Sims all we want, but neither will all nba players in any categories of importance.
