Leon Rose made the safe hire not the right hire with bobblehead Thibs.. Mark Action Jackson is what was always needed a great motivator of men especially young men and a great talent evaluator..

6 first round picks, Randle/Ragu/ losing Hartenstein for KAT and Bridges. We traded and let go grit, tenacity and bench resources for style points, high points and 4th quarter collapses. We lost our heart boys, the 9 game streak was just an illusion. The only hope is Mitch returning, maybe he can make the difference, but ultimately I feel like that's just cope. Leon has been great, but I think he dropped the ball with the KAT trade, as much as I love Kats numbers.
@Enerjay882 күн бұрын
I don't think he dropped the ball at all. People keep saying that. Let's backtrack for a second. Isaiah was not staying. He made that very clear and went for the bed as he should because that was his prerogative. There's nothing wrong with that. We had to go for Towns for an obvious Center problem. Plus the fact that Robinson was injured due to the whole Embiid situation, which people also seem to forget. So there was no way you could run it back at all because of those two glaring factors then you add the third , the whole Julius Randle extension situation. Did we want to trade Divincenzo probably not, But unfortunately it happens. People also seem to forget that we wanted to keep Isaiah. But at the end of the day again it was his choice. So because of that, it influenced a lot of the moves we made. Everyone wishes he could have stayed myself included. Would that have helped tremendously absolutely.

U can’t be serious! You seriously think we’ll have a better record with Donte n Randle in the team right right now? U don’t think we could have gotten two or three solid players than giving Og that money. 6 picks… for bridges. The Trade for Towns hurt us more that WingStop who don’t stop sht?

I keep saying this. This offense is good because of skills and not Thib’s coaching. How many times is KAT going to come up and slip the screen so Brunson can go iso. KAT needs to come and set a hard screen and make the defense make a hard decision. Are they going to trap Brunson and leave KAT? Or are they going to trail Brunson and have a two on one situation going downhill? Also, we used to call plays for RJ Barrett (pistol action) heading towards his left hand but we can’t call a play to get Mikal going to the basketball? The same could be said about Brunson. All of Brunson points come from difficult shots
@Broimjosh2 күн бұрын
We have 5 people that can push the ball up the court but we slow down the game time and time again to give Brunson the ball. It makes no sense. We play much better when we are pushing the ball in semi transition. KAT should push the court up after a rebound, OG should push the ball, Mikal should push the ball, see if we can get easy basketballs and if they are not available, reset with Brunson

Knicks are in trouble. They have a poor defense, thats bad enough, but they don't have enough of consistent 3 pt shooters. One game they can blow out a team and the next they get blown out. Trouble in paradise. Mikal finally came through last night but what about the next game. OG is not a consistent player either. So you have right now only 3 out of 5 playing consistently well. This is the NBA, you need top notch players producing at all positions at all times. Look at the Cleveland Cavs, now thats a consistent team. Love my Knicks but.
@CDiesel7202 күн бұрын
The offensive foul on Kat was not his fault. JB went too early and caught Kat while he was still setting up for the screen. That is always on the ball handlers. Thats a PG 101 thing. As soon as MSG showed the replay it was clear JB didn't wait for Kat to stop. That's a foul 100% of the time.
