Classic negative snowball from the media influencing everyone to hate on him/underrate him. KAT has a chance to be a perennial MVP contender if he stays healthy with the Knicks, and they get him right as he enters his prime... those who said the Knicks somehow got "fleeced" are gonna be eating crow.

The off ball movement in Minnesota was non existent. KAT was always paired with another scorer who almost always needed the ball in their hands to create their own offense. Wiggins, Butler, Dlo, Ant, etc. Having OG, Hart, and Bridges as teammates must feel like a revelation to KAT. I expect him to have a career high in assists. It's crazy watching OG these past couple of games just stand underneath the basket for an easy dunk because the Brunson/KAT pick n roll/pop is just breaking teams. If they figure out the defense this Knicks team will definitely be a contender

An adjustment a lot of teams have made is putting a wing on KAT and putting the big on Hart or OG. Which also doesnt usually end well for them as a center cannot guard OG or Hart on the perimeter. Huge difference from being able to put a wing on KAT and have the traditional center comfortably guard Gobert.

It's shows currently with the Knicks and Wolves... KAT was a solid team player, and he filled his role; the chemistry last playoffs was great. Jimmy Butler got the measure of Towns in fifteen minutes. Saw him as a child in a man's body. More interested in Call of Duty than in winning basketball games. It would be nice if that's changed, if getting sent to New York made him grow up a bit. But this is a guy who only last year allowed his teammates to feed him in direct revolt against the coach so he could score 62. They lost the game. Towns maturing now would be on the order of flipping a switch, and I doubt that's happened. It's 14 games. The sample's too small. Maybe things feel good for Towns now, but wait until he hits his first obstacle. His behavior when that happens will tell the tale.

Then you don’t understand sports where the majority of champions need to play better defense than offense in the post season, the Celtics and OKC are top 5 in both areas, so while anything is possible, the 10-5 Knicks that just lost to the Hawks, lol, are going to let down their fan base big time in the playoffs m, if they pick up another two solid two-way players, I’m definitely ready to change my mind, they should have never let Hartenstein go, and Robinson is always hurt and unreliable, but we’ll see

So let me get this straight. The problem wasnt wiggins, since he won a chip with the warriors. Now the problem isnt KAT, since he's being turned in to the Joker 2.0. And obviously the problem wasnt Jimmy, since he's the one that chewed everyone out. I guess the problem must be the franchise then. It's just the combo of the culture and attitude that's holding everyone back.
