I really like that Tenacious. You say it looks amateur, but that thing has so much character, very unique. Also gotta love the Bucks. I have a 110 and a 112 and my dad has had a 110 for almost 30 years now. Gotta be one of the most reliable knife companies to date. Great video man, I subscribed.

AWarmCoffee Thank you i really apprecite that! I recommend you trying out the Buck Marksman; it's a modern design but a very cool blade and yes, i think many people overlook Buck because they've always been around and most of their designs are timeless.. In the knife world, people just want the next "new" thing.

Awesome collection. I like the variety, some more common knives ( Buck, Victorinox ...) It’s not Spyderco after Spyderco after Spyderco. Not that there is anything wrong with Spyderco. You see some guys collection, and it’s nothing but Spyderco ( boring...). At 7:33, you mentioned you stripped the blade off the Cold Steel Kalishnikov, rendering its appearance of the true color of steel. Can you describe how you did that? I have a knife with a coating and want to get rid of the coating.

+Folk Rocket i think thats a smart way to go about it, i started out collecting things like mtechs and maxam brand knives but when i realized they have absolutely no resale value, i started looking into more quality pieces. But if youre doing it so you can experiment with different blade shapes to see which you like best without breaking the bank, id say thats a great idea!

That Fantoni Dweller is soemthing else, I can't find it anywhere online though. Sucker for OD green. Have one of the original Northwoods under Dave Shirley before he passed, great design. Hesitant to pick up one of the new ones since they're sometimes hit and miss with the fit and finish.
@Knives4Days9 жыл бұрын

great video brother. impressive collection. Question on the lionsteel SR2A that you have. Do you have any sticky lockbar problems? i bought an SR1A awhile back and it was insanely sticky. I couldnt flip it up without it getting stuck so bad that i had to wedge it back with a screw driver, and that was out of the box. just wondering if you had any issues with yours or have heard of other lionsteels having the same problem. Seems like yours is smooth and amazing.
@Knives4Days9 жыл бұрын
KnifeAddiction1890 thanks brother, appreciate it! I actually bought it used, but i had a similar problem and i realized that it wasn't the lock bar that was sticking, it was the rotoblock keeping the locking bar from disengaging because it was loose. Turn the rotoblock all the way counterclockwise than tighten it. Let me know if this helps.
@KnifeAddiction-pz9qu9 жыл бұрын
Steve s it wasnt the rotoblock. check out my review on it on my channel. it will better help describe the problem i was having. plus i already got rid of it because it was so bad. but i love the knife i want to get another one, i just dont wanna have the same problem.
@Knives4Days9 жыл бұрын
KnifeAddiction1890 Thats so weird, usually steel on steel doesnt stick. Not sure if others have had that problem but its possible theyre not all like that. Like i said i got mine used, the 1st owner could have broke it in or something. Either way hope you get your hands on a good one!

Yeah, I'm really not into folders although I have just a few..I have a Puma Emperor, pretty nice, a little to big to carry as a E.D.C, Although a nice back up bush knife, Atleast that's what I would use it for, But so far it's just a Safe Queen, Then I have a vintage S.O.G. Tom Cat in the 440C, Yeah its nice, then a couple of vintage Cold Steels, the Talwar, Titanium Frame with Linen Micarta scales and I think the Tri-Ad Lock with the San Mai 3 blade and a Black Sable same as the Talwar. then the Rajah 1, the frame is made out of a aluminum bullet a very large folder that is a pocket Kukuri, AUS8a, and one of my Fav's bush folders the Black Rhino in AUS8a, and a vintage medium Vaquero in VG-1 full serrated blade, very, very sharp, then a few Bokor's and Puma's but I use them in the bush just to save my main blade, the Puma has a saw and it's the Warden and the Bokor is just a large hunting folder, with two blades, a few vintage Case Slipjoints and a 1992 Test Case a Jumbo Trapper and one that's a Commemorative Mako design but has a very unique serration, very nice, a C.S. Bushman folder a KuDu with a ring lock and just recently I got a great price on two Moose Pattern Slipjoint Pocket Knives by Rough Rider, then at the pawn shop I bought some Camillus, Ka-Bar Schrade vintage slipjoint ' s in very good condition, but my recent by is a Wilkinson Sword INOX 3blade Canoe Patern Slipjoint Pocket Knife made in Sheffield, England, I don't know much about pocket knives, but this one is a beauty, very well made and very sharp, it was never sharpened and in excellent condition, I can't find any info on it, but just from looking at it, everything is spot on, actually I could compare my Case Knives quality wise to this Wilkinson Sword, Maybe one day someone will tell me what I bought, I really don't care about its worth, but I would love to know the type of steel the blades are, well for now it's also one of my bush whittler around a camp fire one a hot cup of coffee on the open fire and a baked potato this knife is very well made, Heah, but Thanx for sharing your knives, I really liked some of them, Oh I also have two sizes of tge S.O.G. Pentagon's 1 and 2 I think but tgeir in VG-10, I Also have a couple of automatics both sideways and out the front, I would have to look in my folders to see what the other ones are, but mostly their vintage and a few of the better quality of Frost Cutlery the kind with the semi precious stone handles and some that were made in Japan, like I said I have to look, Oh Yeah, I also pouch carry a Camillus Silver Sword #836 and I also have some Western lockback I alternate, and I also have two Camillus Electrician Knives in great condition, but mine are nowhere near what you have, Thanx for sharing. Now my Fix Blades that's a different story, from Busse, to Swamp Rat to Fallkniven Northern Lights Njord and A-1, to my Bark River's in 3V, my Beckers, Ka-Bar's, O.K.C.'s and a few Customs, like the John Bradley "World's Finest Camp Knife" that's tge name but mine is with the Desert Ironwood Handles, G.E.K. Randall Made, Skookum Bush Tool and others, Yeah, I like ○====}::;;;;;;;;;;;>'s

+bOwToMeE0 I'm not too sure, but i know where i am from, using a knife as self defense is a bad idea because the laws here are pretty strict. I use my knives primarily for edc tasks, not self defense anyway. Nice collection! But if I would be allowed to pick a single knife, I would go with the Northwoods Indian River Jack! I'm hoping to get mine tomorrow. It's a little pricey here in Germany (about $220), but I like the combination of a traditional pocket knife and high quality steel. :-)

cool collection, but no autos?
@Knives4Days9 жыл бұрын
Thank you, nah I'm not really into autos or spring assisted knives.
@Knives4Days9 жыл бұрын
They open via a flipper tab not a spring.. i said i don't like spring assisted knives. I only have one knife in my collection that had a tortion bar spring which i have removed... that is the kershaw blur.

Say, Heah, Yeah , sorry I don't do video's because I'm limited on my knowledge how to do that, I know some people are angry with me and I've been asked before to do just what you asked me, But my knives are a collection of a few years doing this, I don't really collect the. especially my fix blades, But I do take good care of my knives, As far as the folders, I was lucky to be in the right place and right time most of the time, sort of like lucky. because I never planned getting any of them, Just like my Vintage Cold Steels, I got a advertisement and thought the price was good and I bought them, I only maybe planned buying a folder just a couple of times like my Bokor 2blade Hunting Slipjoint Pocket Knife and my Rough Rider Moose Pattern Slipjoint Pocket Knives. the Case all of them I bought at the pawn shop not all at one time. But I go tgere often just to see what's new, Yeah, If I got into doing videis, first I don't know how, and second it prolly would cut into my bush time. Yeah, I'm sorry, If you want to talk, Send me a private message then we can go from there, , ,
