Knife Collection Feb 2016 Update Part 1

Men ... I am starting my knife collection since early this year, the one that got me going was the Spyderco Tenacious and a Leatherman Skeleton KB, from there I have purchased some Kershaw, CRKT, Buck, ESSE, SOG, Benchmade, Cold Steel, Keizer... I have to say I have seen maybe around 50 knife collection videos in the past few days trying to see what new things I can get to know, and your is the one I have enjoyed almost the most... mostly because the taste in your selection is quite similar as mine, knives that (with the exception of maybe a couple) are not aggressive or odd looking, even the custom or more expensive that you have at the bottom of the case. I’ve seen from other videos that when people show their customs that costs 100s of bucks they are too futuristic or odd looking. I’m gonna watch also your other video with traditional story see what you got there... really cool bro !

Thanks a lot for showing your beautiful and astonishing treasure. I downloaded this video and I saw it more than a tenth time. I love knives more than anything in the whole world and I live in a country that is sanctioned by USA for 37 years. Yeah, you guessed right which country. Iran! I couldn't have any of my favorites knife in here because exporting anything from US in here is forbidden. Of course knives is forbidden in this place specially tactical and almost all of haunting knives. There is some of Buck's models in some secret stores, a lot of fake knives and there is some legal Victorinox sellers (So I have 7 pieces, thanks god) All I want to say is that please appreciate what you have by your heart. There is someone on other side of the globe who really loves to have one. By the way, my top favorite brand is ZT and die for it. Go ahead and good luck.

Great collection , what do you use as a protectant? Especially for the carbon steel blades in part two, I've been using mineral oil but getting tired of the constant oil all over the knives, yours seems to be free of that.

Mineral oil works just fine, but i use Aegis EDCi knife care solution on most of my blades, it excellent stuff and also food safe! Heres the link aegissolutionsknifecare.com/edci/

+TheKnives Templar I've been collecting for close to 10 years, started out with $5-10 flea market knives. For many years, I was buying and selling many knives but when i realized the resale value for the cheaper ones wasn't really worth it, although there are many high quality budget knives these days. Also i am trying to keep what i have at the moment and my tastes have changed which lead to more expensive knives. It took many years to get to this point sometimes selling 4-5 knives just to cover the purchase on one!

That's the best thing about living in Almost Heaven West Virginia you can carry any knife or hell any sword gun or rifle you want of course guns they have to be in the open unless you have concealed carry permit

Just starting out....CRKT is really hot in 2016. You can get knives that look like customs for $35-55. Kershaw makes nice knives for decent prices also. And you can't go wrong stepping up into Spyderco. AVOID: Gerber, Sogg.

UPDATE/Followup...CRKT, Kershaw, Cold Steel, Spyderco. AVOID: Gerber, SOG. Boker.....Kershaw "BLUR", CRKT "Mah Eraser" & "Swindle"...ANY Spyderco over $70. Boker makes some great knives, but also some Dogs, avoid them in the beginning, same with Buck. Get the Blur and Mah eraser, thank me later. HeHe. Oh...alot of people are jumping on the GANZO bandwagon, super cheap-well made knock-off copy kat knives from China. Get them at GEARBEST.

Did you make that case or did you buy it? I need something else to put my knives in. I have a small clear safe that holds 12 knives( 6 on each side) and it sits on my bookshelf. But I have bigger knives and they don't fit so i need a new case.

+Why So Serious? That is an HPRC case similar to a Pelican case with the customizable foam. I have a video demonstrating how it works. Highly recommend either brand... very durable and versatile!

not technically speaking.. but it is called the "griploc" because the unique internal design makes it very hard to close when you are gripping the handle, and it also has a secondary locking gear on the lanyard hole.
