I'm a correctional officer and we get very little training. Which of your DVD's would you recommend for me? (By the way I need some techniques/drills that will help me if I have to enter on someone and restrain them while I wait 12 seconds for backup).

Numbertwopencil1 - I have a Clinch For The Street series coming in a few months. That would probably be best for your purposes. Thank you for doing that difficult job.

Elumio Merk - I will do that.

@@BurtonRichardson Hi Sifu, about the clinch dvd, did you mean the one you recently released through BJJ Fanatics or are you going to make one for Jkd Unlimited?

Man I would love to purchase your DVDs but I find them way too expensive, especially if I wish to buy several. Do you have any offers or special discounts coming up?
@BurtonRichardson5 жыл бұрын
It takes me an extraordinary amount for work to create the videos and those who purchase them find them to be a great value. Check out the Focus Mitts For Sport And Street. I made that very inexpensive.

@@BurtonRichardson Hi Sifu, "It takes me an extraordinary amount of work to make them", no doubt, and I'm a fan of your work myself. I appreciate your response.

@@BurtonRichardson How would you describe the differences between the series at BJJ fanatics and the one you sell through JKD Unlimited?
@BurtonRichardson5 жыл бұрын
Justin Podur - Difference between BJJ For The Street White to Blue videos and the BJJ Fanatics BJJ For The Street series. The white to blue series, on my website, is designed to take a person, experienced or not, step-by-step from white to blue belt in my street-specific approach. It is broken down into sections by stripe to progress someone to BJJ For The Street/BJJ Blue Belt. The BJJ Fanatics series is a complete overview of the entire approach. This series also serves as an outline for those who want to pursue BJJ For The Street instructor testing and certification. The instructor track is for those who already have considerable grappling experience. There are various levels of instructorship depending upon the ranking of the individual. I hope that makes it clear. Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy your training! Burton
