Great Video. I am making my first knives for Christmas. Three for our kids, all with curly maple scales that torquoise would be awesome. Drilling the divits is a great idea.

Definitely worth it! Thanks! I'm taking away the scale pocket holes aligned with the tang holes for the glue. Seems like the best way to glue scales to me. Keep posting those! Cheers!

CK Knife and Tool one thing I wanted to add.... your point about sanding some texture into the pin is very smart! I’ve never thought to do that on my knives. I do on my scales, liners and tang, but never the pins. I will be from here on out though! Excellent!

Very good video.. It's difficult doing good videos while working.. No it's not boring to me, I have only 5000 questions you answered by watching, I never read the infor in blade magazine.. Question, in the corner of your shop you have a huge collection of sanding belts, or grinding belts.. What's the finest grit you use? Do you go finner than 400 grit? I use off and on 600 to polish, no finner then that do I need... Well done , I always wanted to know about expoxy and what is the correct one..

Norman Mallory ... Ha! Yes, quite to collection. I’m going to see how many I ended up with next year. I have belts saved since about April this year. I hate throwing them away! As for grits, I primarily use 120 grit and on occasion 220. I hand sand from there. I prefer to hand work my knives from them on. Check this video in regards to belts.
