Okay, questions. 1) Where/how did you find your blank? 2) How did you set the initial angle grind? 3) How did you set the cutting edge angle? 4) what was that bracket thingy for it? 5) What was the blue liquid you applied? ) And lastly, what was the liquid that you applied to bring out the Damascus? I liked the video but I didn't like not knowing what you were doing. Maybe I the future, add subtitles for us that are learning the trade. Well done knife tho. Thx!

It looks awesome but i am wondering why nobody is talking about the damascus not going down to the edge. Because like this the only purpose are visual effects. The other advantages of damascus for a blade arent used like this.. Still a very nice knife!

Piece of Advice: try covering the sharpened edge with tape or clamp down the piece before taking to the Drill Press. If the bit catches the blade it can grip it and cause catastrophic damage.

It is a beautiful knife and very well made. But it is still not Damascus steel, Damascus steel does not exist anymore. Just Beautiful forge welded steel.

It's a welding magnet. They're used to hold steel pieces at a 90/45/135 degree angle when welding.

i like it. a simple video to show the process. editing with text or voice would clutter and take away from the experience, distractions from the art at hand. there's plenty tutorials out there if you need to know the details in each step, just use the right search terms - "how to"
