Loved the comments about Pennsylvania not being too bad and then the knife edge comes up 🤣🤣 Great to see marathon man and breaks! Really fun to see the trail and what I will see next year! And loved Stitch's limbo moves and how blasé you are now about snakes!! -BrightSide

That is a 'strip mine coal' mining operation. They are probably mining for Anthracite coal ("hard coal) which is prevalent in the northeast portion of PA. Bituminous coal ("soft coal") is prevalent in the western portion of PA. Warning: the rocks get worse in the northern portion of PA (and continue into the few days of NJ).

Looks like huckleberry bushes... Basically huckleberries are wild blueberries...smaller but super tasty 😁 Love watching y'all hiking ❤️

I love the Pinnacle! One of my favorite trails in PA (I have a video of it too you might like!) also, the pile of rocks was supposed to be as a hiker passing through you take a rock and add it to the pile.
