You could probably hear me screaming from the Netherlands when you dragged the phone from the table 😂. But please start announcing the lives when you can so I can set an alarm so I can watch it live as well, thanks! 🙏

This was a practice, since we have not been able to go live lately I wanted to make sure I could and see how well it went, and then it gets 70k views lol

@@NeevesKnives Yeah bro what the heck is going on? Your main uploads have had a low view count recently, then you go live after a month long break and the livestream gets more views than your last 5-6 videos combined. Lol Seems weird. Almost like subs aren't getting notifications for the main videos. You should be able to get views like this, but on your main videos. I'm not an expert on video analytics so what do I know. 🤷♂️ Or maybe people just really like the livestreams.

@P.W.R. no it's a different algorithm, the regular vids can grow over time while vertical lives stop after a few hours, yet are being scrolled through by thousands of people at a time

I like live streams…I just don’t talk about it all the time. Not daily. Almost…but not every single solitary day. OK…sometimes.

Hey, Jerad. It's good to see you.

Is there a way to have “Lives” announced farther in advance. I have checked so many Saturday and Wednesdays
@NeevesKnives2 ай бұрын
Yes this was a test run to make sure it would workout, I've been having issues going live but now I'm going to set a new schedule that will have notifications starting on Monday

Thanks for this video! I love watching your sharpening videos - I'm always learning something new! You said when sharpening the Fenrir you don't like to go above 600 grit on S35VN. Question - do you have a list of blade steels and your recommendations for what's the last grit you should use for each?
How the heck did you find somebody that loves knives as much as you do?

Should the stropping be done at a different angle than sharpening?
@NeevesKnives2 ай бұрын
No, it should be at exactly the same angle, if you hold low your not hitting apex, if you hold high your rolling your apex. Lower is safer if your not confident.

If anyone would let me know what knife that is I’d appreciate it. Thanks! …guessing one of the Kershaws…

Jerad you said cpm154 isn't powdered. Doesn't cpm mean crucible powdered metallurgy and therefore it would be powdered?
@NeevesKnives2 ай бұрын
No, I said 14 c is not powdered. I said cpm is , that's what cpm means is powdered metallurgy

Why would you not go over 600 grit?

I’m looking to get a nice ceramic stone. What do you recommend? I already have the three piece set of diamond ultra Sharp stones
@NeevesKnives2 ай бұрын
SPYDERCO ultra fine Ceramic. I would also recommend getting a Ceramic rod, now you might need a stone between that Ceramic and your 1200 for a mirror polish. Not that you need it
@Aa-ron222 ай бұрын
@@NeevesKnives yeah I have the Spyderco fine ceramic but I should of got the ultra fine. I also have the work sharp ceramic rod if you recommend it I end up getting it lol. Ok so I’ll get the ultra fine stone next time
@NeevesKnives2 ай бұрын
@Aa-ron22 you don't need the ultra fine, they are close enough to each other, I personally would recommend a fine / ultra fine bonded diamond of some sort if you are looking to upgrade a bit
