I tested k390 vs s30v on a thick rope that had been coated in sand and other sea crap the s30v fully dulled after 13 cuts the k390 made it past 30 cuts and still had a great working edge

Been carrying a warnnie k390 endura and a native 5lw serrated maganacut lately. Also have a couple of endela’s,stretch 2 and!2 reg edge endura’s, and a police 4lw k390. Great models,especially the prices as of late. Knife center still has the warrnie endura k390 for $98. Had to get 2 👍🏻 gp knives has them on sale also. Bhq I can’t recommend because of tax and shipping 🙋‍♂️

Kneeves knives says K390 sharpens best at 600 grit, so does Jared at Cedric and Ada!

My spydie Endela K390 wharnie has a 12k polish with a ballistol nerofor Patina, 12k right side and 1k left side dual grit edge. Vitrified resin bonded diamond stones were used in both processes. Stroped with 1micron dbk compound on each side

The warrnie endura k390 I’ve been carrying came with a dull edge, wouldn’t cut paper clean,Stropped it up on 6-3-1 GJ and it is sharp enough for me.

That’s weird my k390 delica was probably the best factory edge I’ve gotten. Maybe yours was made on a Friday afternoon lol.

Sekicity m390 showed higher Rockwell at 62-63 but performance was not good in outpost76 testing. But they do great k390.

Have had good luck finishing with the KME 300 then using a Venev scorpion 400g too polish the edge a bit. Then 1 um Gunny Juice.

I have seki city s30v,cruwear 20cv and k390 and hope the rest of the steels are heat treated in seki 🤷‍♂️

What edge bevel (dps) did you sharpen these edges at?
