Anybody can watch a few KZbin videos and do great work with a mill or a lathe, it's the people doing stuff like this that I find impressive. I've made a ton of scales, and quite a few timascus backspacers with nothing more than a Dremel.

Thank you!! I have bought some very expensive scales to swap on some of my knives, I know milling cost a lot of money to run so some scale prices are justified. It’s the simple Frag or cross cut scales that I’ve bought made me think maybe I could do something myself. So I made a small shop in my garage with a bench, Vice and a harbor freight bench top grinder with dremel attachment. I have done several knives now just trying different techniques and tools so I can learn. I have finally reached a point that I thought it was good enough to share.
