For all of you like me who hate suspense, the round is 6UM. I'll admit I've never heard of it but didn't want to wait to hear it. Others should copy this post so it doesn't get derrick at the bottom and others can see quickly. Very interesting ability this cartridge has, but I'll stick to a way less expensive round that doesn't destroy my barrel that fast. Super cool stuff but over $3 around and barrel done in 800 rounds is crazy brother

The only issue I noticed about this video is calling it a long range big game cartridge. In the chart at 5:25 it shows the kentic energy at 1000 yards and it is only 880 ft/lbs. Most hunting style bullets only expand down to 1800 ft/lbs which would limit this gun to 400 yards. Can it be done or has it been done... sure. Should the typical Joe go out and think they can kill elk at 1,000 with any cartridge, absolutely not. Just know you rifle and bullet. Other then that, great infomative video about a round I have not heard about.
@JustAnotherGuyAdventures4 сағат бұрын
That’s not actually true. Most bullet manufactures say bullets will expand down to 1800fps. Using velocity not energy I’ve heard the hornady guys even claim down to 1600 fps. I agree not everyone should be shooting out to 1000 and everyone should know their limit.
