I bought the cobalt blue one with Spy27 back in 9-18-24 & instantly installed a grey titanium ball cage & it's now one of my favorites. I have a basic Manix2 semi serrated black G-10 I bought back in July 2014 & after extensive use over the years the plastic ball cage NEVER failed. I also have a Manix2 XL Cruwear on the way though I will switch out the ugly micarta scales it comes with for some custom G-10 scales.

I already had a black XL in S30V and a blue lightweight in S110V but when i saw this i bought one, mainly because in my collection of 60 plus knives I didn't have anything with Carpenter blade steel so i went all out and ordered a titanium lanyard hole plug and dark titanium frag scales from Metonboss, blue titanium hardware and ball cage and a ceramic ball from Flytanium and a titanium lynch clip, it will be the most modded knife i own, I don't know why i decided to do all that to this particular knife but it'll look great and make me happy

The manix is such a great knife and one of my favorites as well. I definitely thought about getting this one but passed on it, but when the do ones in a tool steel I can't resist. You gonna leave it stock or put aftermarket parts on it?

@@chriswebb3018 I feel you on the tool steels, I think my favorite part about those is getting a patina on the blade 😂. Probably guna leave this one stock since I had recently modified the Salt LW 🤷‍♂️
