If that is glue residue from packing tape, another trick you can try is a little oil/nose grease…just rub the sticky residue with a little oil and wipe off with a dry cloth!

I bought the cobalt blue one with Spy27 back in 9-18-24 & instantly installed a grey titanium ball cage & it's now one of my favorites. I have a basic Manix2 semi serrated black G-10 I bought back in July 2014 & after extensive use over the years the plastic ball cage NEVER failed. I also have a Manix2 XL Cruwear on the way though I will switch out the ugly micarta scales it comes with for some custom G-10 scales.

LOL!! I found one of these at a spot i like to take my nephews fishing. One blade was completely missing, (like someone tried to pry with it without the pivot screw in and it bent the liner) and the other blade was open woth the lockbar stuck between the tang and liner. Im always amazed by the stupid knives "normies" buy and how they use them (i say, with a half pound custom in the pocket of my sweatpants).

I've always liked Teflon washers. You can't really cheat your way to great action, but once they break in they become incredibly smooth. Ive even tried switching my Hap40 Lum Tanto and LionSpy to PB, but it never gets as smooth as the broken in Teflon.

And, unlike other companies like Camillus they haven’t abandoned their roots as a knife manufacturer for the working man. I can safely say the best knives I have dragged to the work site have been Spyderco knives
