I'm sorry to say this but, for me... this is what I call a real trailer. Not those Hollywood more of the same Badass, simple, nice scenery, perfect mood, epic song, no spoilers. Please don't ruin the movie with overrated special effects. Keep it simple, and keep this badass mood.

I own an 87 Trans Am and I hope to finish rebuilding it soon. And yes it will be painted black. It will not be a K.I.T.T. car replica but, the few up grades that I am making is directly inspired by the Knight Rider. And by that I mean the show and David Hasselhoff. I use to live a few miles from David Hasselhoff’s parents’ house when I was a kid. One Christmas day I rode by their house on my bike and I noticed a tall slim man walking to the front door. I stopped, waved and yelled, "Hi…MERRY CHRISTMAS"! He waved back and said Merry Christmas! I have always wondered if it was David Hasselhoff. :)

Smoke Fumus That was one of the few things that didn't bother me about that show. But then, I like Val Kilmer. He was great in Willow and Top Secret. Though he was the worst live-action Batman. But only because as bad as Bale's Bat-voice was, at least the scripts didn't totally suck. The 1700 support personnel. Needing four people to peek in a window. The back half the season was the show they should have been making in the first place. But the audience was already gone at that point.

Could Hollywood have actually grown a brain and stopped pandering to the highest common denominator? This actually looks Raw and Original, Knight Industries Media -I salute you! Justin Burning although may be a good actor he honestly looked like a kid who just graduated High School, this new guy looks more like a real man, like David did when he did the original series, you guys look like you know what your doing, Hoff looks great for his age - this WILL BE EPIC!

They should have a scene near the beginning of the movie where things aren't quite right with KITT. So as they're making a few modern day upgrades to KITT's electronics (while still respecting it's original look) the voice comes out. At first it sounds completely different so Micheal's like "that's all wrong" so they make another adjustment and he's still like "still not it" and then comes William Daniel's voice and then Mike's like "that's it." I could pretty much write the script for this movie. The reboot on TV was all wrong. This trailer is promising but they need long time fans as writers so it's not done the wrong way. Hell, I have a degree in film.. come on David get me on board with this bro! I will help you make this movie make millions! Guaranteed!

The Foundation for Law And Government was a program initiated by Knight Industries which was run by Wilton Knight. Flag didn't initiate a program. Anyone else notice that kitt now has a round steering wheel and visors that were removed after the first episode knight of the phoenix? I loved how a shadowy figure was driving kitt through the desert again. I loved how it looked in the original series intro about a man who did not exist coming to make a difference.

Why is it so hard to imagine Micheal Knight and Kitt getting together again in a world that is now way more technologically advanced to avenge those in power that took down Knight Industries and killed Devin Miles? Why is it so hard to imagine that Micheal finds Bonnie again... Everything against them but together they conquer the bullshit we all experience today. Total cheese!! But, if filmed right, it'll be exactly the ending to Knight Rider we've all been waiting for. DO IT, HOFF!!!!

The replica they used to film this "movie" as the season 2-3 front bumper but has 6 front headlights (instead of four) and the rocket tubes in the rear, where the brake lights should be (K.I.T.T. only had those tubes in SPM mode, which was first introduced during the fourth season.) If the movie followed the time-line of the series, K.I.T.T. should either have the season four look or the Knight Industries Four Thousand ( Red K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider 2000). I think it's sad they just started over as if the 30 years between the fourth season and 2016 never existed.

I love the footage of KITT approaching - so reminds me of some of the 'insert/drive by' shots from the show - with a 'round' steering wheel and seat-belts lol.
