I didn't know there was actually a stereo head unit molded into the console I think the only time I remember seeing a cassette being played was in KITT vs KARR and I only thought that was just a quick little shot they did in the studio. The five and a quarter inch drive is another little piece of genuine science fiction as nobody had contemplated an actual computer in a car until Knight Rider

I've seen one where fake alpine stereo lights up...and the fake disc compartment lights up red..some knight rider fans go with a little more detail to their replica's...
