Project-KITT.de: Comprehensive overhaul of my Knight Rider KITT Replica (full restoration)

For his upcoming 30th birthday, I gave KITT a comprehensive overhaul.
And it was necessary, because almost three decades do not pass an automobile without a trace, not even on KITT!
Nearly nine months were spent on screwing, sanding, grinding, welding and painting. In addition, there was a completely new interior and a self-developed video- and data bus system to make KITT even more realistic.

I have a KITT sitting outside in need of the same love. My brother bought it like 11 years ago and it's been sitting. It was poorly done in the first place. I need to tear into it this coming year.

Thank you so much for your kind words! Of course I have the correct gullwing steering wheel for shows and display, but it's against german law to use it in traffic :-)
