I’m in the middle of “experiencing” the how, when and why of these escapes. Some of the other peeps in my classes seem confused as to why I’m not going spaz when they get in side control and mount. With pointers like on this video, I’m becoming able to see and take opportunities when I recognize them. Even portions of these moves/escapes work in other situations. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 thank you Eli! Good stuff right here.

Knight Jiu-Jitsu I haven’t made a video for KZbin yet.... But while your videos are short and sweet loaded with lots of information whether visual or auditory. I’m sure it takes a lot of time to prepare before the video. No offense m sure you know exactly what you telling us. No doubt. But with all things in life. And where you are in your BJJ travels. I’d like to think you still plan before each video. So in hind sight, I try to give the best comment I can to express the most I can. And I’m looking forward to catching you a virtual lesson.

elbow escape is my go to .. let them mount and boom end up in my halfG BUT i really need to drill that transition to get them into my full guard. And the Turkish getup i used that all the time. The issue now when i roll with higher belts is not being bottom side its the dreaded knee on belly.. they dont even try to mount, they just knee on belly (KOB) when you try escape the windshield wiper to other side.. and attack with chokes and armbars. After class today will def drill these two escapes (KOB). Thanks for another quality vid.
@KnightJiuJitsu7 жыл бұрын
That all sounds like a familiar struggle. I've totally gone through the same issues (and still do depending on who I roll with). Those KOB escapes are the most solid for me, and I have drilled a ton of others in the past. Thank you for the comment and sharing your experience!
