How do I hold mount to prevent the escape?
@jimo5596 ай бұрын
What if he crosses his feet under your butt and squeezes you?
@Jack-bs4jt4 ай бұрын
Start working an elbow escape. Usually if someone has their feet crossed, there is less weight on their knees making it easier.

Simple donc fonctionnel

Can you do this on bigger dudes?
@KnightJiuJitsu6 ай бұрын
Yes. You only have to actually “lift” the lower half of their body, and you’re doing most of the work with your hips. Watch some grappling competition and you’ll see this escape a lot.

@@KnightJiuJitsu is it similar to kipping?
@KnightJiuJitsu6 ай бұрын
Yes, It is kipping. It’s called the kipping escape.

@@KnightJiuJitsu ohh I watched with no sound, normally when I see this people kick up loads but I'll definitely give it ago with just one motion thanks so much! Great tutorial
@KnightJiuJitsu6 ай бұрын
@harvey0ldham39 - I get it, I watch a lot with sound off too. I mention in this video though, that it might also take a couple of kips to get the job done 👍

Just a question. Wont he choke you if your face is exposed while you’re trying to accomplish that technique?
@parafuegosarchive6 ай бұрын
as someone who uses it a lot, they can try, but you won't be chocked out in 3 seconds, which is about what you need to escape, if they keep trying to choke you, you can use both legs and both arms to break the grip
@parafuegosarchive6 ай бұрын
btw, they lose their base if they are choking you, so the escape gets easier
@spencerschmidtstudios91716 ай бұрын
@@parafuegosarchiveoh okay.👍

you wont do it in one movement. its called kipping for a reason. and sometimes you can only get 1 knee through. there's alot more to this technique.
@KnightJiuJitsu5 ай бұрын
I mention it may take more than one movement in this video. And I feel like I packed quite a bit of details into about 1 minute. Obviously there is much more that can be said, but this is a short format.

My ex girlfriend would be great at this move

Now do it on someone in a higher weight class
@KnightJiuJitsu6 ай бұрын
I do it all the time to bigger guys. It’s not a strength move. You can see this all the time in competition, BJJ and MMA. It’s been around forever.
@bbolen35246 ай бұрын
I do this on guys 80 to 100 lbs heavier. It's so simple it's stupid.
