That comment K.I.T.T made about goliath being their last chance to stop them and some of his other comments concerning goliath tells me that he never quite got over getting brutalized by goliath during their first meeting. Adrienne really had a thing for michael, even calling garth a copy. Garth should've just pushed her out of goliath since she wanted to be for the streets so bad. lol

As a kid I never thought Garthe was played by David Hasselhoff, he seemed so different I was convinced he was a completely different person! And the performance still holds today. The body language, voice, mannerisms, completely different to Michael Knight.

Looking back this is pure cheez, but it brought back good memories. I recall seeing K.I.T.T. at Universal Studios in 1983. I also remember seeing the remnants of the Battlestar Galactica theme park tram ride. The Conan show was the best part of my visit, with the giant robotic snake.

That is Ann Turkel, she was a guest star on many TV shows in the 70s and 80s. She was on 3 different episodes of Knight Rider between seasons 2 and 3 playing different characters

Characters like this make the show unwatchable and cringe on rewatch, which is why its hard to get anyone new to get into the show past season 2 and get a continuation going today. No, the pilot never implied Michael was what Wilton wanted in a son. No, it does not make sense Wilton wanting someone with law enforcement experience suddenly being changed to oh yeah I wanted my bum son (who has no experience) but he's a bum. So uh ima just have to look for someone who had his face blown off and make it to look like my son. Pilot: "It deflected the bullet, which was headed right towards his brain, and came back out, through his face. We'll never know what he'll look like" It's a retcon of the pilot episode writing which is much more plausible.
