Just seeing that intro again takes me back to being 9 yrs old again when it first premiered and I, being a young kid who LOVED cars and cool explosions instantly fell in love with the show. It still holds a special place in my heart as a kid who experienced the 1990's.

It only lasted 1 season unlike the reboot which lasted 2 seasons and was just starting to start FLAG in the same way the original series operated.

Kerrigan Mahan who was the voice of Attack Beast (Ford F-150) also voiced Goldar and Magna Defender on Power Rangers. The later was the same voice style for Beast.

Glen Larson was infamous in Hollywood for stealing show ideas and in one rather bad incident stealing scripts from other shows to make his own bad copies of successful TV-Shows. It would not surprise me if the Network had asked Glen to reboot Knight Rider as a Power Rangers knock-off.

I remember seeing every episode of Team Knight Rider or T.K.R. as it was called and one thing I liked about the show was the vehicles as they all had different personalities and I remember that 2 of the cars hated their drivers they were the sports car and the pick up truck and it was funny that the truck liked the sports cars driver I remember in one episode where they went up against a rogue car that was like K.A.R.R. though they called it C.R.O. said vehicle took out the truck and after they got him fixed and back online the first thing the truck said he was dreaming of the sports cars driver and I also remember one of the drivers who drove one of the 2 motorcycles was a big Science Fiction fan and that was one other thing I liked about this show the 2 motorcycles could combine into one vehicle man that was awesome and I really wish it had been on longer as I really hated it that they cancelled it after something like 8 episodes.

I like how all the cars are Fords and they have to zoom in on the blue oval logos as they pull into the plane. They must have been paid well.

You can overlay the original Power Rangers theme to the intro and it would work perfectly. I can see Devon as a floating head. K.I.T.T. as Alpha 5.

With the storyline it was to continue but with budget cuts in the 99's that is what ruined it. David Hasselhoff wanted it to continue. He even made an appearance on the show but they couldn't convince the producers to continue it.

I never understood how they would go on to explain how Jenny would be Michael's daughter, she was aged 20-25 approx, so she would have been born 1972-1977. She could be Michael Long's daughter. More likely she was Garth's daughter. He was older than Michael and wasn't as good looking. Or from Wilton's final fling before he croaked . Yuk.

@@BobRoss-oy4it This show was early in the career of Spiro Razatos. As a director and also as a stuntman. He went on to be a stunt coordinator and 2nd unit director (on many of my favourite movies; The last 5 Fast & Furious movies, Captain America: Winter Soldier, that sort of thing) alongside Jack Gill and Andy Gill from Knight Rider. All 3 of these guys worked together on TKR at some point.

I thought the coolest thing about the show was Sky One. Otherwise I never had any interest in it... The characters were shallow and the vehicles even more so. The constant arguments between the AIs at first was humorous but later on became just annoying. It might have helped if there was a 'pilot', how the AIs were created and got together with their partners.

Yes every vehicle talked infact the 2 bikes could merge together to form a car then split apart when needed yet both bikes AI were present so would still argue since they were "2, 2 cars in 1" LOL

I can't believe I've never seen that show. Can you Imagine how many times those FORDs broke down on a daily basis? What a nightmare it would've been being a certified Ford mechanic on that set.
