Brand, 'Masonite' is phenolic based hardboard (particle board). Masonite was used as a temporary cement walk, or edge molding to make it repeatedly releasable from hardened concrete. It was originally added as face to stiff lumber then later used as doorskins & many other items. Enjoy

I think its fascinating how they replicated the look of an embossed metal license plate with the vinyl + clearcoat. Its very convincing. And somewhat ironic, because we're going away from embossed plates nationwide, with many states switching to flat screen printed ones.

I find it funny whenever the show SAYS the license plate cause in reality they would use "night" not "knight".

Knight is honestly a cool name for a plate/car. Maybe cause KITT is technically a Knights ride in (Kitts preferred Black) shiny Monocular Bonded Shell! Also the blue really sets off KITTs red scanner and blackout look. Makes him friendly but intimidating

I used to print out little knight plate pictures to tape on the back of my black phone case. It just didn't seem perfect until I can get the white frame around it just right and cutting it out perfectly.
