You're alive, Calard, this is it! There can be only one! Don't succumb to the reigning un-jolly green giant of the land, now. As insufferable as the elitist classism of Bretonnian nobility is, the even further arrogance of their Mousillon vampires is worse. They and their very king's own posteriors owe any future of their society to the wood elves' own boss rodeo-ridin' and the Bretonnian religion's secret elf sorceress. Wha, Raban...! And, as soon as he was confirmed to be present, I knew that most human cockroach-like of Breton-speaking hunchbacks was going to be clinging to survival within view of Calard, too, haha. Good to hear of him there in defence of his culture, that murderous wretch. The arrival of Athel Loren's Wild Hunt is awesome and conjures a similarity to the charge of the Rohirrim on the Battle of the Pelennor Fields in The Return of the King. The slaughter of the Senechals by the new grail knight formerly from Garamont was sorely satisfying - as was his first, silencing piercing of Merovech's defenses in duel, and then the finish from there. Riolas would have been proud. A pre-epilogue ending in excellence. A thousand longships visible from standing on a coastline is a phenomenal vision that's even difficult for the imagination's mind's eye to accurately convey. I'm sure it would be one hell of a sight to see. The actual epilogue's equally befitting with which to cap off Calard's individual saga. I'd originally expected Styrbjorn to not face Calard again until the formal End Times tomes but this is also good. Maybe necessary, if the later story writing was altered from novels to these concluding novellas. What a sad yet heroic tale, ultimately very enjoyable. Calard is at least one of the least intolerable Bretonnian characters of them all - both in this and other book series. Yet again: thank you so very much for bringing all of this to life for your audience to take entertainment from, GrimDark Narrator. Well-done, my friend. Until your next works, rest well and have a healthy, awesome day.

A suite-biter ending. It was nice to learn what happened to Gallard's friends, especially that rogue Diter Vesler. I really liked that one.

Duke Merovech: Are you kidding me!!! I lost to a pile of splinters, that dryad did nothing to him, it was I who killed his family and destroyed his home, I corrupted his brother, I was the Ancient Evil of Bretonia! I should have been the main villain of the last book, not instead I was condemned to the last chapter. Raban: I really died under the sands of Nehekara and I was tricked into looking for this cup, that's a bummer. Alcadizaar: Welcome to the "Lost in the Deserts of Nehekara" club, there's wine there. Chlod: At least I had a somewhat happy ending. Bertalis: Shut up, peasant! Calard: When does this happen? Louen Leoncoeur: Somewhere in my early reign, so the epilogue is well after 2525 of the Imperial Calendar. Calard: How nice that our great land has survived and prospered... Tzeentch: Yes... But ok, now pack your things because you and your manservant are going to Total War verse. Chlod: What!?! Calard: I am not afraid of the challenges of the Dark Gods, get ready Chlod. For the Lady! For Bretonia! Chlod: Oh no. Lorenzo&Florin: At least we'll have company.

From what I can see, it looks like Merovek got cocky and tried to show off with his swords instead of taking Calardr seriously, then got too angry to fight properly and was killed like a newborn thrall instead of Blood Knight vampire lord. I am certain that Abhorash would be Very dissapointed, or even disguisted by him. Another Wonderful story over. I am kinda dissapointed that the daemon child doesn’t have a name, but with Fantasy making a slow comeback, maybe we will get more Calard and Egil in the hopefuly bear future. Which brings up the question. What is next? If I could make a suggestion, could you consider making audiobooks of the times of legend trilogies? Preferably in the chronologal order from the Sundering, War of Fengence The Rise of Nagash and Legend of Sigmar? If you are afraid of copy right, then what abo some really Oldhammer novels? Like Daemon’s Gate Trilogy of Alaric and Dietz? Or Angelika Fleischer Novel Series About Bodder Princes? And of course who fan forget Konrad and Karl Hoche Book Series, Both mutants that serve the Empire and Sigmar against the forces of chaos. In any of these cases, if you need help getting the books, I have several avaliable and know how to get the rest, the only thing I lack is time to sit down and read on my own, as I often Listen to these when on train or working. Besides that Wonderful as always, thank you for your work, and as one madlad used to say „This guy everyone. This grimdark guy.”

Oh boy hack of battle with green knight this ain't Sean Connery, from sword Of the Valiant no this a knight of the Lady!" Herself is what imagined, beautiful and enchanting. Calard now fulfilled with the Grail he's now stepping Relos boots, audience with Ariel and Orion of Athel Loren was cool Like your lance, dawn spirit and design But i know someone. who won't ya Merovech, your time has come, a short reunion with Anara was sad with Calard at least it didn't end with tragedy like Bertelis, also I" somo what knew Cypheros was a waking Avatar it was obvious with his clothing during that day when Calard met Cypheros hes kind of like, the young king from the eldar in Warhammer 40k a offering to be bloody-hand God. But instead to be Orion. by the Oak, Thorne, Let the wild Hunt begin like a call to a Forest "FURY!!." 😃👍
