Use case of KNIME in creating clothing accessories design from data residing in tables

Hmmm... Challenging but tempting as well. I guess I give it a try soon

😃 hahaha... I guess you have to ask the guys from KNIME themselves, I had it in a merchandise package I received, when I did some inhouse training 🙃

Do we ever find out what those text boxes in the Flow Variable tab are to the right of the drop-down? I tried using the same flow variables in that field with no effect.

Hey Phil, thank you for the comment. These textboxes are there to CREATE flow variables. Let me give you an example. Let's assume you have an Excel Reader that reads some transactional data from an Excel file and the table sheet with the name "Data United States". Let's also assume you want to use that info - the name of the table sheet in the Excel file you imported - later on in your workflow. Then you just have to assign a name in that text box for the variable (e. g. varSheetName) and it is available throughout the workflow. You can easily check this is you right click on the Excel Reader (in that example), look at the results (lat entry in the context menu 'File Table') and there on the tab 'Flow Variables' - you should now see a flow variable with the name varSheetName that holds the value of 'Data United States' Let me know if that helped.

How to use variables for lower and upper bounds using row filter node? There are questions left! Or did i miss something?

Basically you can create these variables through widget nodes. I have uploaded an example workflow below for you to my (free) public space on the KNIME Hub. What I basically did there is using 2 Integer Widget Nodes and set the default values to the upper / lower bound I wanted to use. Then I merged them so I can feed them into a single Row Filter node. In the Row Filter Node I went to the Flow Variables tab (at the top) drilled down into Row Filter / Lower & Upper Bound / IntCell and selected my 2 variables there Make sure you have set some dummy values when setting "range checking", otherwise the Row Filter Node would throw an error when exiting. Here's the example workflow: hub.knime.com/-/spaces/-/~z_YcZqokuc7_XX7D/current-state/ If you like this stuff you might want to sign up to my weekly newsletter - the Data Alchemist - where I share stuff about "all things KNME" and Data Analytics.

Thanks for the info, Muhammad. Sorry, I got the wrong link in there which only worked locally. I have updated the workflow on the KNIME Hub (here: hub.knime.com/kowisoft/spaces/Public/latest/66DaysOfData/day45%20-%2066%20Days%20of%20Data~8c-yxWbyX8GJMijh ) and now it comes WITH the data. Hope that helps.
