As an industrial electrician who does panel building & installation, bespoke machine & instrumentation building/wiring/installing etc 70mm is a pretty common size for me and dare I say even on the small side compared to what I’m used to. There seems to be very few what I’d consider industrial sparks on KZbin nearly everything is aimed towards domestic sparks. This is not a criticism of you guys at all as you had 70mm tri rated there at your disposal - but the comment of not many people encounter that size cable every day I can only assume would apply to a domestic only electrician or DIY person. Anyway nice tool, I’d consider adding one to my kit if it wasn’t for the dedicated cable sheers of various sizes and other electricians scissors I have in my toolbox. Great vid really showed what this tool can do.

To trim excess copper at the tip of the ferrules, the oval cutting area (for cutting cables) works much better because it does not crush (flatten) the tip of the ferrule.

Knipex send us most of their new tools for electricians and we disclose this as a paid partnership at the start of the video. ( Most KZbinrs don’t!)

@johnsheppard7388 Жыл бұрын
@@efixx I'm not seeing seeing the paid promotion notice at the start of the video. As you know it is UK law to disclose paid promotions since the ASA ruling in 2014 so if Most KZbinrs are not doing so they risk prosecution. Please understand that I am not being antagonistic, I very much enjoy your videos. I just like to know how objective your reviews are, we all have unconscious bias.

I've got a pair of those straight Knipex scissors and love them. I find I use them for most cutting tasks except if I'm making a long cut and then the long pair of scissors come out. Those Knipex scissors really are multiuse and that angled version looks even better. Side note. Did you see the t-shirt that Knipex sells that shows how to pronounce their name? Maybe it's your 'Bri-ish' accent but you guys have to get that shirt.

If they crimped up to 16mm bootlaces, with torque/ratchet I'd get them as in the mining industry in Australia this is as large as we go, and I can remove the crimpers from my tool bag.

Oh, how did you work it out? There’s a companion iOS app that gives you complete control of the cutting modes and, in the event you somehow misplace it, helps you locate your missing scissors via GPS tracking. It even counts how many cuts and crimps you’ve went through.

Previous model of 95 05 20 SB is not 95 05 10. Is 95 05 20 simple (without SB), wich have approximally the same shape except the design of handels. This model, SB, look more ergonomically frendly, especially for guys with big hands.

@@RsFrag3d Thank you for this correction. Anyway, if you type one of those two codes (with and without SB), and search with Google Images, you will see the difference between the old tipe and the new one (that meaning the real „previous” model and the new one).
