Learning to spin with colourful fibre is definitely more motivating. That is what I did to trick myself into getting over the hump of learning to spin. It is so fun!

There are a couple people on ravelry that have trippy in their stash. Even if they list it as “not for sale” you can still message and ask if you are able to use ravelry. I was knitting a sweater for my wedding and ran out of an indie dyed suri and two people sent me their scraps from projects. A lot of times people just forget to change it after they make a project that they are willing to sell or trade.

I wish purl soho would sell the 9 note bundle yarn base in individual colors! I made a cowl with it and loved it. Would definitely buy. The vest came out great! I'm working on the Black Forest Brioche wrap and the Rota Jumper. Just about to join in the round. I have the alpine bloom hat and the Harlow hat patterns, if I can decide on yarn I will make a hat😊 hats were the only thing I made at first. But it's been a long time since I made one.

I decided. I'm going to do Leni by Isabel Kramer. It's free and more importantly I wanted to do a sewn double brim because I've never done one. So now I will look for yarn. But tonight.....casting on socks.

I unusually got out of work early yesterday and went to my LYS. String Theory in Glen Ellyn Illinois. I picked up the cutest yarn. Very pastel goth. I plan to do the Leni for myself in a different color, but I think I might make my son and his "girlfriend" matching hats. Hats, hats, hats!

I just finished the Classic Ribbed Hat by Purl Soho. Pretty happy with the fit, though knitting 1x1 rib was a slog.
