Hi, what is mulberry yarn? All silk worms feed on mulberry leaves. I used to have them as a child as pets. Are there silk worms that feed on something else? Isn't all silk mulberry silk? Thanks.

From what I know, silk worms can eat any type of leaves, but Mulberry is their preferred. Mulberry can be expensive, so some silkworm farmers use other, cheaper leaves, but I think it affects the quality of the silk produced. I can't remember where I heard this so I could definitely be wrong. Mulberry is preferred though!
