If Kika knows this is an error why hasn’t she uploaded a corrected version? Or even just a corrections sheet b

I am knitting this pattern now and find the detailed written instructions very easy to follow other than the infamous row 5. This was my first time knitting texture and her writing style has inspired me to try her Arctic Light which looks much more detailed.

Your sweater came out fantastic! The colour is fantastic on you and the pairing with the white pants is giving vacation by the beach! ❤ I'm still working on the body and I'm on the fence about sizing up on the sleeves. I'm knitting with the recommended yarn and I do have fairly stickish arms. Who knows, maybe I'll flip a coin 🤭

I struggled with chart C row 5 - I had to unpick it 3 times! So much time wasted and it became very frustrating! Thank you for sharing the correction ❤

I'm happy to see you followed your own advice, haha.🥰 I'm super amazed that you managed to finish the sweater quite quickly and I love the finished sweater, I think the cotton yarn really shows off those lace details. Perfect for the summery weather ahead. As for trusting gauge, from what I've found out, is to disregard the swatch entirely and to use it as a guide instead. By trying on the sweater, you should get an accurate measurement to how the garment fits on you. I personally use the swatch to see how it quickly works up and if I like the yarn. This video really has motivated me to start my own cardigan. Currently I'm just finishing off some old projects to clear up some space but I am really excited. I hope you have a wonderful day/week ahead. - Ranjita aka chocolatesandpasta

I loved watching your progress with the Salty Days sweater and I really enjoy watching your podcasts. I knitted quite a few of Veronika’s patterns, including this sweater and overall I liked her patterns and cannot remember finding any mistakes in them. I did a test knit for her earlier this year and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The pattern contained many errors -which is not a big problem for a test knit pattern -, but she was very slow to answer the comments/questions, sometimes it took her a week, and even when she attempted to correct the mistake, her solution was still incorrect mathematically. I tried to help her with a particular error by sending the correction in an excel file for each size, but never heard back from her regarding it. It was at a late stage of her pregnancy and I thought it was the pregnant brain that was not functioning well, so I overlooked it. However when she released the pattern a few months later, she did not show any appreciation towards the test knitters, she did not even say a thank you. The icing on the top of the cake was that she had to be reminded to provide the final version of the pattern to the test knitters. I have done a lot of test knits for quite a few designers and all of them have been lovely, kind, very helpful and professional with only this one exception. I decided at that stage that I would not buy and knit any of her patterns in the future and would not apply to her test knit calls. I am sorry if this sounds very negative, but it was what I experienced and truth needs to be told 😊. Keep doing what you are doing, it is lovely 😊.

Very good feedback about the pattern. I have heard only good things about the pattern so this is helpful. Maybe your feedback will encourage corrections to the pattern.

The gaps between the sections were meant to be in garter stitch instead of stockinette and the pattern is laid out in such a way that if you’re not careful, you will miss it which is a bummer! I hope after this KAL the designer decides to revisit and revise this pattern

Hayley was your row gauge correct? That might be why your sleeve is so short…. I always have to lengthen sleeves on every pattern. A lot of designers are very small and petite, though Veronica is not short as far as I can tell. Lovely project.
