Hello and welcome to this tutorial on how to sew this simple knit skirt. This is a very easy pattern that comes with several variations.
This pattern includes:
- mini, midi and maxi length variations
- straight, A-line, wider A-line variations
Sizes 4-24 (see measurements on Etsy)
This pattern includes:
- A4 PDF format & US letter format
- A0 PDF format
- Instructions (recommended way of assembling the pattern)
Fabric recommendation: stretchy knit fabric such as stretch jersey, stretch velvet or stretch jacquard
Supplies
- Knit fabric
Width: 140cm/55”
Length: 55cm/22” to 230cm/91” depending on the variation
- Matching thread
- 0.5cm wide elastic, length = your waist measurement

Hi! Does this pattern only fits stretchy fabric?

Hello, yes! This pattern requires knit fabrics as without stretch the final result would be too small and lack a closure. For similar result check out my "thyme" pattern that is made for woven fabrics :)
