No, no NO! That brioche shawl is just too beautiful! 😀 I'd keep the grey lace one for when you are wanting something other than stockinette, that looks like a very wearable masterpiece! And of course the Joji sweater is going to be gorgeous on you and you don't have much left!

Frog the gray shaw and the brioche shawl. And don’t give it a second thought, now move on to something new and fun!

Thanks Sharon for another great episode. Maybe an idea to help decide on what to do with older WIPs….give yourself 30 minutes….get the project (pattern and everything you need to work on it) …find where you left off….set timer for 30 minutes. If you’re not enjoying working on the project after that amount of time-(or at anytime prior) I’m thinkin’ you know what to do 😉 Beautiful yarn! I always enjoy seeing what you’ve been up to.

I love your two shawls that you are having a hard time to complete. Just put them aside and come back to them when you have the capacity to work on them. That’s what I do and it works. It would be a shame to frog them you’ve worked so hard to get to where you’re at. 😁 I love the darker colors you have dyed they are beautiful!! 😍. Stay cool and sock 🧦 it on! 😂😂.

Thank you! I'm still thinking about it all. The brioche shawl has been in time-out for 6 years, I'm very seriously thinking of frogging it!

@@KnitStyle didn’t realize the brioche shawl is that old! lol! I could understand frogging that one. 👍🏻

Love the dress you will be wearing for the wedding. Like the tandem idea to knit socks.

For the shawls, this is what I do....I ask myself, if they were gone tomorrow would I miss them...if the answer is "no", they get frogged right away, no remorse 😊

Solid advice right here. 😃

One of my recent orders from you had like four or five full skeins and a mini set in it. When the bag arrived, it was COMPLETELY ripped open but every last bit of yarn, somehow, was in the sack and completely undamaged. It was really lucky. I figured if there wasn’t something missing that the yarn itself would have been cut by whatever ripped the bag, but no, they were perfectly fine. Phew.

Thanks for letting me know Trish! I might start ship larger orders in boxes.

Can completely empathize! My bandwidth seems to be shrinking lately. I do go through waves as I’m sure you do too. Since we’ve kind of hit summer I have less time and interest (yard work!) so I’m knitting simple and not having a deadline. I’m making Helen Stewart’s Simply Scrappy Cowl. Nearly mindless but still pretty. Having just finished her MKAL I need to rest my old brain! I’m tempted by your tonals. They’re gorgeous as usual. I’d probably leave your wips a while longer and focus on easy and pretty for summer.

I know I always think I’m going g to knit more in the summer but it doesn’t happen. I’m glad you like the tonals, thank you!

You do not seem to have enthusiasm for the brioche shawl and gray shawl so I would frog. I would finish the Joji shawl.

WIPS are the worst. By the time I find them, the instructions are gone. One day I'll do the full migration to Knit Companion.

Are you an iPhone user? Download "Goodnotes" its so much better than Knit Companion. You'll never lose a pdf again.

Frog the brioche.

Thanks for your input. I'm still undecided about the lace one, but I think you are right, I'm going to frog the brioche.

My suggestion is to frog the assymetrical shawl since you don't like the shape and it takes so much brain power to knit.
