Love this nerdy , not just the skills and nerdy interests but also the human aspect of reviving a community.

Brother 940 owner - Back in the day, I used the BitKnitter (now called DAK) with the Commodore Amiga then upgraded to Win95. It was so fun to design my own patterns but I let it die on that floppy. I am so excited to learn this. Thank you for the work you are doing ❤

I am a compulsive machine knitter. I have made over 100 sweaters for the "Knit for Kids" charity project. I was using my Singer 155, 12 punch card machine to add hearts, bunnies, snowflakes, and more. I do own a Brother with mylar sheets, but was still working full time and didn't get to practice or convert to computer based patterning. The Etsy conversion item is reasonable and I will reawaken my curiosity to knit a wider range of patterning. Mahalo 🏝🌊🌋

I didn’t understand a word of what you said, but it was fascinating to watch you explain it all.

Thank you very much for your videos. It helps to see that no project goes without it's own struggles, but that things can be worked out. Without all the KZbin creators us civilians with our knitting machines would be truly lost, like I was in 2002 with my half broken and undocumented Passap and almost no information on troubleshooting available.

As someone who didn't understand how her machine works so is nervous to try new stuff, this was very informative and helpful. I like to get to know how things work before trying things. Thank you for sharing.

What an interesting talk. I am an experienced machine knitter of over 30 years, both punchcard and electronic. I mostly use brother machines. It is great that you will also be looking into the Passap, as I use my e6000 also. Thank you.

What are you talking about? This isn't a company! This is volunteers and programmers, engineers and knitters solving a problem of keeping knitting machines going.
