I am so glad to see a review from someone that has been using them for years. So often reviewers get it in the mail, knit a swatch and call it done. Durability over time is a big deal when it comes to the tools for any craft and you can't see what that will be it you don't have the time in using the items.

Thorough review! Thanks! How about the cords? I have a set of a different brand of interchangeable knitting needles that have a plastic coated metal cord and the cord keeps breaking near the connection point on the needle and cord. How durable are the cords?

For magic loop, what kind of memory do the cables have? I understand that less memory is more beneficial.

I want to buy the purple set that come in the case for my birthday, but it is $124. I want to know if they will break before I spend that kind of money. I don't usually use wood or plastic. I usually use metal because I am so paranoid of the needles breaking.
