The fun part of this whole concept Kelly and Noelle do (Knit Chat Cafe) is being a community. You get everyone joining in and participating. Their knowledge is invaluable to me whether I watch live or later. I do mostly have to watch later because of other commitments. There ARE tons of videos and written answers out there on the web , but like me I believe everyone enjoys the interaction the ladies give us. That is why we watch or we would just politely move on so as to not be frustrated. We love you Kelly and Noelle!

Agree! Many times I may know the answer to the questions but I enjoy all the knitting talk. It’s like sitting around the table with your knitting friends❤

Love all the Valentine creations Kelly. Very creative. Nice knits as always Noelle. I started making mini socks years ago - got six done. Would only need to make 66 more. Hmmmm. Thanks for sharing. Take Care.

Kelly, I had de quervain’s tenosynovitis a few months ago. My primary care physician injected the tendon sheath, and within a couple of days I was pain free. Still no pain with any kind of motion. Having been in your situation I wish you a full recovery.

Enjoyed my Tuesday night with you ladies. So happy you have found things that bring you joy Kelly. I’ve spent the last three months recovering from a broken wrist and it has been a journey.

I hope that you are continuing to heal well, Kelly. I appreciate how excited you are for other knitters and their making even while you are missing it so much. What a kind spirit you have! I am also enjoying all of your other crafty adventures as I am a fellow crocheter and quilter too. Enjoy!

Just found your podcast and I’m really enjoying both of you! To Kelly..I went through a couple of hand surgeries in spring of 2024 and , I too, had to dig deep into finding what I could do until my knitting ability returned. It is amazing what you can find to fill that void. I did some sewing, but my big accomplishment was to get every bit of my yarn out, sort it out into categories, cataloging it in a nice little note book with all the info I could come up with about it, and then I started going through all my knitting books, online patterns (printing them off and putting them in clear sleeves) and then making some decisions about matching them up with my cataloged yarn. Now, I can just pick out a pattern and I already have the yarn ready to go! That was my main way to cope! Good luck..you will make it!

Hi ladies, I always love your makes and ideas. I love Kelly that you are venturing into other crafts for your creativity. You might like Curious Crafters’ podcast. One of those ladies is a knitter, but they get into many different crafts. Also, I’ve noticed that there are some knitters out there that have ventured into cross-stitching. Thank you for your podcast. All the best! Sheila

I have become a fan of knitting my neckband last. I truly don’t mind picking up the stitches to do this- and it allows me to decrease stitches to make the neck smaller if I want to. Easier to customize if you do it last.

Kelly: I had that same wrist tendinitis (I won’t attempt to type it) almost 17 years ago in my right wrist and my doctor diagnosed it the minute he knew I was watching my new grandchild. It is a typical injury of new mothers/grandmothers and comes from picking up a baby/small child under their arms as we all do. The separating of the thumb and 4 fingers is what can cause it. No amount of braces or therapy helped and I had to resolve it via a simple surgery. Pain gone with absolutely no returning issues even tho’ I’ve had 3 more grandchildren since then. I hope you get it resolved soon but I absolutely know how painful it is!

S Some of the questions can easily be found on the web taking everyone’s time and go through and explain them in great detail is very frustrating to listen to.
