What is the overall length of the skirt? I am in the process of making this skirt using 3.5 mm needles, I have gotten to the part where you are to knit 14cm after the increase part, and it's currently 20" long.

Thank you. I’d recommend to make a swatch to see how many stitches you have in 10cm. Measure yourself plus add a bit for looser fit on the bottom and go from there.

Hello, is it possible to do it without an elastic band ? What would be different if i just sewed my waistband without the elastic ? I don’t have one

The problem you might have without an elastic band will too tight to to put it on (to get hips through) or to loose and it won’t hold

Hi, I would recommend merino wool, but you can use and yarn where you will have about 26sts in 10cm (100g =300m or 50g=150m). 😊
