Ikoxun I had two ideas for videos! One could be celebrity knits; for example, the taylor swift cardigan or the harry styles patchwork cardigan. And then you could also make a videogame inspired crochet and knit video and make stuff like the animal crossing mom sweater or the undertale frisk sweater! Just some ideas, I would love my fav knit and crochet KZbinr to make them❤

Yessss and maybe videogame inspired pieces too, like a life is strange inspired camera pouch !!

THE VIDEO GAME IDEA IS SO REALLLL I did a crochet vest as a mini costume last year for Kris Deltarune (the sweater was too much in too little time) and desperately wanna attempt the urchin understitch bucket hat from splatoon 3 considering it's summer, and even attempted a knitted pizza tower sweater at one point that fell thru cuz Peppino is too detailed and crayzay and I don't have the skill for that rn 🦅 (however a pizza themed bucket hat is rotating in my brain atm 👹) But yeah if that vid idea became a reality I would explode

i LOVE how the color pooled in the skirt! Even though you chose to make it one color, the pooling gives it so much texture and variation that it doesn't seem blank. and the graph of the shirt is so cute! you did really well and all of your time spent learning how to design pieces really shows. nicely done!

Your outfits are cute and so pretty. Pro tip: when using elastic, cut the elastic two to three inches shorter than what you want because it will stretch with the weight of the fabric. Also leave a "one inch opening" in your waistline so you can replace the elastic when it loses it's stretch without damaging the fabric.
@kitkatherine239 күн бұрын
Shes going to add elastic thread in the ribbing by "weaving it in and out", shes not using elastic band.

Wow another great tutorial! Loved everything about it 🥰 I've been trying to follow along with making the baby tee, and I'm wondering how I can customize the 4 cast-on stitches at 10:35 (after transferring the arm stitches out of the way, before continuing to knit the larger section) to my measurement? I'm not using the same needle and yarn size, so trying to figure out how many extra stitches I should cast on there. Would appreciate any help!

I was figuring out how to make maxi dress and I was struggling how to make it flowy but i decided to crochet the top part and make the skirt knit and I did an increase around the bust and another increase on the hip and it was perfect! It’s still a work In progress but I’m hoping to finish it soon! P.s. I love your videos and you’re the only person I find inspiring since you give me so much ideas and give so much inspiration for me and others to keep knitting and crocheting! Don’t stop what you do! You can make skirts like this on flatbed knitting machines at least, i dont think sentro type ones can do it though. Its harder to do rapid increases than decreases on them, so you would probably have to rework the pattern to be bottom up to decrease for the waist, or do it sideways with shortrows to create the extra length around one edge. You could also hand knit the increase section and rehang it on the machine for the plain stockinette rows. It would be neat if you got a machine, theyre super fun and they are purpose built to make stockinette panels if you are getting tired of doing them so much lol

Oh my goodness, I haven't done any knitting in YEARS but I would love to start again this fall or winter... AND learn that duplicate stitch technique! I couldn't stick with knitting back in the day, simply because of all the different ways of casting on and binding off... I can do everything else in between without issue, but unless someone can help me with starting and finishing a project, it's like FORGET IT. Another thing I didn't like about it was how even the patterns themselves never included WHAT KIND of cast on and bind off to use in the pattern... what the heck, seriously?
