Hi! After you cast on the waste yarn stitches for the sleeves, how much do you knit before you do the ribbing at the bottom?
@handmadebyaura643 жыл бұрын
Hey... Yeah.. before collecting stitches from cast on edge i had uneven number of stitches and when I was ribbing the last 2 stitches I purl together :) (so stitch number was even). I hope you understand what I wanted to tell you.

How many stitches do you have after you've knitted the 20 cm (not including the collar)? 15:59
@AshleyMonz3 жыл бұрын
Hello Aura! Beautiful tutorial, im planning to knit this polo, but ive a doubt, when do u use the 60cm and 40cm needles? Did u start casting on with the 40cm needle and then changed to 60cm needle? Thank you!
@handmadebyaura643 жыл бұрын
Hi. 60cm needles I am using to knit collar and the body. And 40cm i am using for sleeves. If you planing to buy circular needles and save money I would suggest you to buy 40cm. Because you can knit entire t-shirt with it.

Hello,I’m really happy when I saw this video. Thank you I bought drop safran yarn 4 balls and I don’t know how to knit and measure to knit a shirt. Is there any yarns left after this project? This is a bit small for me so I wanna make it a bit bigger. My weight & height is 123 lb & 5’6” Is this shirt ok with me?

Lovely pattern. Could I ask for some advice please - When you slip stitch from the main needle then knit from the spare (7.22) do you knit into the back of the stitch on the spare needle? And are you working with the right side of the knitting facing you for the slip stitch?

Hi! I really love this idea but unfortunately, I'm a plus size. how can I adjust the measurements to my own size? thank you!
@handmadebyaura643 жыл бұрын
Hey. The collar length should measures your head circumference. For example you have 128 stitches (minus 8 stitches for raglan pattern) so its 120. 120 you need to divided in 2 (it will be back and front including sleeve). 120/2=60 stitches. 60 stitches I am dividing in 3. the number I get it shows how many stitches i need for sleeve. 60/3=20 stitches for sleeve. 60 stitches - 20 sleeve stitches = 40 stitches for back. So we get 40 st (front), 20 st (sleeve), 40 st (back), 20 st (sleeve). We have 8 remaining stitches left (as we have raglan pattern). So 8 st divided in 4 =2 stitches. we have to put 2 stitches in between the t-shirt parts. 40 st (front ), 2 stitches (raglan), 20 st (sleeve), 2 st (raglan), 40 st (back), 2 st (raglan), 20 st (sleeve), 2 st (raglan). As per pattern, front needs to be divided in half as collar cut needs to be in middle. 21st (left front), PM, 22 st (sleeve), PM, 42(back), PM, 22 st (sleeve), PM, 21 st (right front). To know how many stitches you need to put for collar you need to use the gauge written on the label of you yarn (or knit sample). I am very bad at explaining, sorry if you didn't understand me.

@@handmadebyaura64 hi.. love this top.. really want to try but intimidated by the 3mm needle (also don't have the yarn weight in my stash) but based on this explanation, it seems like any yarn and corresponding needle can be used. Is that correct?
