Regarding storing hand knits, I use sweater boxes from The Container Store. I bought the linen ones, they have a drop down, clear (see through) front that can hold several sweaters/shawls/etc and are stackable too. I have enough room in my walk-in closet to put them on the upper shelves but I rotate the sweaters as the seasons change. They are an investment, about $30 each, but they look real nice and keep the dust and moths (hopefully) out. I have them in my entryway as well and in my hobby room holding yarn stash. They come in different sizes to fit your space. Thanks for sharing your knitting with us. "Knit the Day" indeed!

So nice meeting you ! Best regards from Morristown nj. I love your video style . I love that you are similar to my age group lol and I can relate to you in style . I am Lithuanian and I am knitting since 6 years old ...so I am experienced knitter but i always knitted my own created / calculated designs . Only lately I decided to challenge myself and dive deep into “ universal” abbreviations, written chats . I am so happy I did that . It opened new doors for me in a world of knitting. Since I am piling up with many new beautiful garments ( just finished my first rununculus lol ) I find challenging to in styling them . Most of the time I end up with jeans ( different color) . I am 5.10.5 tall and somehow flair dresses doesn’t look good on me . Saying that I really !!!! Appreciate that you display your combos in styling and just hang them in front of the camera through whole video. That somehow opens up a bit my own thinking about styling and gives different perspective. So thank you and looking forward to watch your futures virtual meetups !

Thank you so much Diana! Your comments are so lovely! To be knitting since you were 6 years old is amazing. Yes,styling our knitted garments is challenging. I’m only 5 feet 4 inches tall and most dresses are way too long for me too. Thank you for watching and commenting! Have a great weekend! 😀

Hello! Thank you for a nice and calm podcast. Everything moves along very smoothly. I just wanted to share about storage for our knit items. I actually keep my yarn in large, sealed, clear storage bags, with air in them so the wool can breath, under my bed. It would be easy to find containers that slide under the bed to keep our sweaters and cardigans. It would be easy to label them as well, if needed. Hope this helps another viewer.

Hello Bobbi, I just found you on You Tube when searching for "the Ranunculus sweater". I was hoping to get some thoughts about ease. How much ease did you allow for your Ranunculus 1 & 2 sweaters. They look great on you!!! NOT over-sized like the photos shown on the pattern. I just finished MY first sweater The Rift Tee by Jacquline Cieslak but with less ease than suggested. I am a beginner at this and need some confidence. Also, your knitting and "knitting niche/corner" is fantastic! Love your sweet dog Bella Grace too! Thank you for the lovely episodes. Hello Claudia! Thank you so much for subscribing and thank you for the lovely comment! Both of the Ranunculus sweaters I knit have 5 1/2 inches of positive ease knitting with US 9 needles for the yoke and body of the sweater. I knit with US 8 needles for all of the ribbing. The fit turned out perfectly. I knit with fingering weight yarn for the brown one and a light Dk weight yarn for the pink one. Interesting enough, both came out with the same amount of positive ease. Thank you so much for watching! Have a great day! 😊❤️
