That sweater vest is beautiful❤️ I love watching you and your sisters crochet and knit! It’s so inspiring and helps me come up with my own ideas for projects.

You did great for your first vest . I suggest next time when knitting with cotton use a smaller needle it won’t look as loose, I would go down 1-2 sizes down when doing the body . Great work! Love the color combo!

Wooww you are much better for a beginner. My first project as a knitter has lots of holes and mistakes. GOD bless your endeavors.

@@knitwithkali hi there, just caught your video after I saw the original tutorial one! You have done a fantastic job! I have one question though, can you please tell me, did you cast on exactly the same amount of stitches as the lady in the tutorial? Because you must have to count EXACTLY how many stitches to get to the EXACT middle to start decreasing for the V shape! And I am bigger than you so I will probably have to count differently and I dunno how! The calculations for the middle V seem to be the hardest to do if you are not the same size!

it looks so good!! i definitely want to try knitting my first sweater or sweater vest soon but also i’m very intimidated lmao
@knitwithkali3 жыл бұрын
Only way to get over that intimidation is to try it. You never know, it might be easier than you think! ☺️

Ok so after this, which way do you find easier to add ribbing? Coz I figure you can add ribbing however you want right?!
@knitwithkali3 жыл бұрын
I have no clue what you mean exactly, lol. I did the ribbing first and worked into it, so I didn’t need to “add” ribbing, if that’s what you mean. ☺️
@claraphiri41803 жыл бұрын
@@knitwithkali I forgot you do the ribbing first on your sweaters. I always do it last but I don’t like doing it, so I’m always trying to find a faster way to do it.
@knitwithkali3 жыл бұрын
@@claraphiri4180 Ohhh yeah I definitely recommend doing ribbing first

When you can. Please explain guage and how many to cast on with different bust size or hips. The math part using 2 different needle sizes and different size yarn. ❤️ Your doing well for a beginner.

Hi, I don’t ever gauge anything, nor do I plan to, so I can’t help you there unfortunately. But thank you!! 💙

My stitches are also so tight I always have to scrunch and pull them over. I’m not an amazing knitter or anything but I feel like it’s pretty normal!
