Kia ora / greetings After three mini-strokes I have to relearn many things knitting being one of my former and still passions. Cable Headband. You are a wonderful tutor but sad to say I cannot get my head around the actual cable stitches. Do you by chance have them abbreviated somewhere and being a "newby" I may have overlooked them? You make me want to knit everyday for the rest of my life. I have made five already but. only because of the they formula eg: c3f slip next 2sts onto cable needle, leave at front of work, k1 then knit 2 from cable needle. When you say needle size number 4, do you mean US size 4 (3.75mm), UK size 4 (6.0mm) or 4.0mm?

I’m assuming those are 4 mm. They don’t look like US 4 which are 3.5 mm bc they are a little bit thinner. UK size 4 are 6 mm which would be too big. I’m currently using 3.25 mm for a project, and the size difference between 3.25 and 3.5 is small. Plus she’s using worsted yarn. I will try this out, it’s been a few years since I made any headbands.
