I'm a experience crocheter but so new to knitting. I know you did this video several years ago but it is still relevant today. You really help me understand a lot about knitting needles. I appreciate you taking the time to explain, show and share your expertise. Great video! Too many videos on here don't take the time to do that and makes me wonder why they bothered to do a video at all. Thanks for saving me time and money in choosing my first set of knitting needs.

great video on knitting needles. I love the sparkling plastic needles, and they are my type. I like straight needles because I love working flat items like scarves and blankets. Thanks for sharing.

wonderful video, thank you! i recently got a pair of circular needles, the cord is a bit bent from the way they were packaged, i was wondering if there was any way to straighten it, or something?, they are a bit awkward to work with, because they try to bend themselves. any advice would help, thank you!!

Hi. Have you tried the Hiya Hiya sharp interchangeables? Or can I assume that your favorite needles are the Addis?

For a beginner who has a hard time with counting stitches (I crochet so I'm using crochet term bc idk know term) what would be a good needles set for a beginner
@iknitwithcatfur7 жыл бұрын
I think US size 10 is a good starting size. Also, be sure to use a light colored yarn so you can easily see the stitches.

I'm considering buying a nickel-plated interchangeable set but can't afford Addis so I've got it narrowed down to Knitter's Pride and Knitpicks sets; have you ever used either of these sets and if so, which do you prefer? Thanks for your input.

ilurvemv I have not tried the nickel plated KnitPicks, but I've tried other needles of theirs. They are ok. They have recently changed where their needles are made, and the quality has gone down some, from what I've read on knitting forums. I have tried just about every needle made by Knitter's Pride, and recommend theirs!! Before you buy from an online yarn shop like Jimmy Beans or Paradise Fibers, check on amazon and eBay - I have gotten some amazing deals on needles that way!

***** thanks so much for your input, you confirmed exactly what my instincts were (to go with Knitter's Pride and not KnitPicks) - I believe Knitpicks manufactures their needles in India now and speaking as an Indian, I can believe the quality isn't very good...and I always buy from Amazon, so no surprise there either - thanks again!

Sorry to bother you again but I have another question: have you ever tried Denise's interchangeable needles and if so, what do you think of them? They have a pretty good deal on their new Della Q sets, 14 needle sizes and cords for about $80 on Amazon. I'm annoyed their cord lengths are so short but they're including extenders. But I've heard their needles are plastic and can be flimsy. Have you tried them? What are your thoughts? Thanks again!

ilurvemv No, I haven't tried them. I don't care for plastic needles, but a lot of people love Denise.

Okay. Thanks for your input.

Please inform me , theses needles are available in Pakistan

Sorry, I have no idea of the availability of supplies in Pakistan. Your best bet is to find an online store and enquire with them as to their shipping locations.

Thank you for going over your needles with us. And can I say the glass needles are absolutely beautiful. As you were going over the needles you didn't give a size on the red ones that look like they have glitter within them and the bright purple ones. Could you tell me what size needle they are? And thanks again for the information. Great video. :-)
@iknitwithcatfur7 жыл бұрын
I believe the red glitter is size 15 and the purple ones size 11.
