Hi Julie Great to be inspired by more pattern ideas for sock sets or single skeins The Sock Head Cowl is another goodie 👍And the Twinkle and Spark Cowl (Hannah Woodhead), Wolkig (Martina Behm) The Wrist Ticklers (Kaye Jones) also come to mind and of course the Musselburgh beanie Escanda (Belen Fernandez) and Tassels In The Sky (Vincent Villapando) and Close To You (Justyna Lorkowska) and Workday Scarf (Sue Flanders) are all free patterns and perfect for that lone skein or sock set💜🐨

I wouldn’t be using a sock yarn, approximately $30 cdn, and 20gm mini-skein approx. $8-10 cdn for a draw-string bag. That’s a pretty expensive bag. Definitely something I’d use an acrylic and much cheaper yarn for.
