@@joyofthings I’ve been following them on social media for a while. I didn’t realise they are biggest in Europe! I’m waiting for them to put Drops yarn in the shop (they’re planning to) and I’ll definitely be visiting then! Xx

Just an idea regarding your opening of first sweater... I would try using a felting needle along the opening. It may stiffen the material up enough to keep opening closed with the hooks🤔 maybe even add more wool on back while using felting needle?🇨🇦🥰Sharon.

Lipstick looks great! The Ingrid sweater is on my radar but I’ve just started a Staffin so it will have to wait patiently. Would petersham ribbon help the opening of your Elizabeth blouse?
@KnitsFromLincolnshire3 күн бұрын
I’ve thought about ribbon and someone suggested needle felting but I’ve come to a conclusion that it should be worn open! The fabric just isn’t stiff enough to stand up. How are you getting on with Staffin? I have it in my library but haven’t opened it. I’ve heard that the patterns isn’t the easiest to follow… Xx
@carolinehannan39213 күн бұрын
That’s a very pragmatic approach! It’s a bit early to say about the Staffin pattern but I wouldn’t disagree so far. There was an issue with the size 5 chart (pattern repeat box missing) which Rebecca is correcting. Teething problem. Looking good so far.

FYI you talk about the sweater you are wearing BUT all you can see is the neck….you should adjust your camera so we aren’t looking at only your head and your walls and a instead your knitting…then you move on to the second sweater on the hanger and all you can see is the shoulder of the sweater….
