Love your haircut! GORGEOUS blue tee. I love it with that teal skirt!!! Your striped Farnham colors are just up my alley lol....I want to knit one toooooooo. Oh the queue just keeps growing!! THOSE CULOTTES!!!!!! I wonder how those will pair with your new Farnham.... I'm also in such a groove with mix and matching my knitting and sewing garments. So much fun! Michele of Woolens and Nosh has SUCH great colorways. I also prefer plumper sock yarns, the Targhee base is soooo nice. "Less beige and more me." LOL. Thanks for sharing tidbits from your lovely trip!! Happy podiversary! Take care friend!~Stephanie

Have been watching for a few months (thanks to Selma's recommendation on her channel) and you have inspired me to dive into garment sewing. I have done many quilts, bags and backpacks but have been intimidated by garments. Since I have been knitting sweaters for a few years, I *need* to make some pants to go with them 😏. Also, share your love and admiration of Rebecca Clow! That girl is a knitwear design machine. What talent!

Thank you for another lovely episode. Your comments and photos of Amsterdam brought back so many great memories of our trip in March. While our weather was not the best so I could not observe the fashions and colors as you did. I was intrigued by the footwear that I saw. It struck me as yes, I have to wear comfortable waterproof shoes and boots, but absolutely with style. I loved the city and we hope to go there again soon. One of my highlights was going to Stephen and Penelope’s. I could have spent the entire at the yarn shop. My husband is patient, but not that patient. Have a great few weeks; looking forward to your next episode. 😊🐈❤

So beautiful is the Right As Rain Tee in that stunning blue color. I had a plastic crochet hook taken away when I was LEAVING Singapore! i was pretty upset because crocheting was helping me get through the long flights back to MN. What would it matter that I was Leaving? and plastic!? So I understand your frustration at having had a similar experience. You really can make anything well, can't you!?

Thank you Megha. I love the blue top and your pointers about crop top length because as a fellow knitter with ample hips I was struggling to sort out which length of crop would work for me. And I will be able to directly apply this information as I have a Love Note on the needles at the hem. Knitting is so adaptable and I love it. What you said about travelling with needles is a struggle and I think travelling with wooden needles is probably the way I will go when travelling from now on....I guess I need to buy more wooden circulars. :) Last but not least, you mentioned coming to Canada soon. May I ask where you are going and are there any knitters events we could meet you at?
@skeinsofdreamsknitsАй бұрын
Thank you so much for watching!! Glad the crop length discussion helped :) I am in Toronto for two days actually. Its a quick work trip and haven’t planned any yarn store visits. I will definitely come again to the area and perhaps next time can plan something 😊

Another great pod cast! I noticed in another video you did and today, the way you use your rotary mat and ruler. I am, by no means, telling you how to hold your ruler and cut, you do you and you may have settled in this way to work best for you. 😊Usually, you cut on the other side of the ruler, meaning, the fabric is under your ruler and you use the measurements on the ruler, not your mat. That way it holds your fabric down and there’s less chance of incorrectly cutting the fabric. That may not make sense, it’s kinda hard to explain. Anyway, if that works for you, keep doing what you’d re doing. 😅
@skeinsofdreamsknitsАй бұрын
Oooh yes that does make sense… i did try and do that in the beginning when i watched videos but somehow I couldn’t get a hang of it… i should probably try again! Thank you ☺️
