I love to see a video on all your baby knits after he's worn them for a while, talking about which items were the most practical, how the yarn held up etc. I don't intend to get pregnant for a few years yet but watching you and Bethany of Well Loved Knits has me saving all these adorable patterns for the future 😍

I'd love to see footage of your yarn stores and your trips to the countryside as well as your normal content. I'm from the UK so it's interesting to see other parts of the world. We hardly have any yarn stores near to me here and you seem to have a good selection in Texas. Loving the socks. ♡

Those socks at the beginning of the episode are so cute! Love it. Don't worry too much about having enough knits for the baby, it'll all work out in the end. Tell your husband to leave you alone during podcasting, since you are knitting him an entire sweater!!

I love Q&A knit and chats! And I'm super interested in learning about the knit community in warmer states, I lived in southern CA and always wondered how y'all stay motivated to kit in the heat!

It cracked me up when you were saying it's awkward making eye contact with your neighbor when you're in your house LOL idk why it's so awkward but I agree

Love the socks have looked up and saved the pattern, thank you! As for knitting sweaters that take forever, if you are a praying person or even if you like to send out good vibes and I also use Reiki for others, what I do is pray / send good vibes . Reiki out to the person I am knitting for. I even try for one per row or alternate rows which kind of keeps me going when the work is tedious and taking forever. I do this for other projects that I am gifting, for eg if for a yet-to-be born baby or a new born I pray for them and their health and wellbeing as well as for Mum & Dad or whomever will be raising them.

Another great episode. I really enjoy the knitty chat and adding knits to my ravelry favorites. Maybe you could make a video on quick gift knits for the holidays. I've really been into knitting socks, too. When I first started knitting I didn't see why knitters enjoyed making socks. But now I've got to have one on the needles.😊

So lovely to see all your projects! 😊 The last sweater I made was seamed...totally agree that they're tricker! I had to go back and lengthen mine and I wish I'd put in a lifeline before the decreasing because that would've made my life so much easier 🤣

My fiancé is the same way, if he’s not outside working (he’s a lineman) he’s outside, he loves hunting for food & to provide, especially for Jerkey yummm, squirrels too he makes it for dip & he eats the meat even though it’s not my favorite. He’s always always outside doing something, love mushroom hunting, doing chores. I know I never could hunt myself but I appreciate what he does & he loves it! We live in PA it’s normal here as well. He also doesn’t agree with hunting for trophies, only to provide. Trust me I understand! I want to make a sweater for my fiancé for hunting season I’m hoping to start one soon!

I have totally taken a paneled cardigan and made the sleeves by picking up stitches and knitting in the round. Seaming the sides of the body is one thing, but sleeve seaming seems to pointless. I love hearing about your husbands homemaking! You said he was a forester, I'm curious what he does now, my husband does forestry research so I guess he is kind of a forester too hehe 😄 Been loving all your sock knits, they make me want to buy autumnal colors and make some for myself! Thanks for another wonderful podcast 🥰

November 26 2022: The socks are so Fall looking. I am just picking up knitting and I believe socks are going to be on my needle often. I love the colors and suggestions with the mini skeins. So or one of these I would like to do a KAL not sure of the Advent KAL. Oh those annoying and funny husbands. Like children they never need you till you are either on the phone or a Zoom! Yes, I have had my moments when the second livingroom door is shut and I have sent text to everyone in the house. My teen grandchildren get it and when they see me through the french doors they just wave. Not so with my husband! Loving your view of planning…..we all do it. When is the little coming?🎉❤

also: wax and wool has an incredible spiced cider candle and it is DREAMY. Essential oil based, highly recommend.

The baby stuff is fun because it's quick but it fits them for a quick amount of time too! I have knit sweaters for my kiddos and it's gotten to the point where it just makes me so sad when they grow out of them and go into their keepsake boxes... so now unless they ask for it, I knit hats and maybe toys (my soon to be 3 year old wants a Little Cotton Rabbits bunny badly) 😆 I'm currently knitting a sweater for my husband as well!

I made the fish bone without the motif as well. ! But I made it in the round and then broke into the flat section when I made it to the top I did the same with the sleeves So much easier

Love your videos. You should definitely knit the Newborn Vertebrae by Kelly van Niekerk. It’s a free pattern. Uses fingering wt yarn and only 200 to 220 yds. Ellie from Craft House Magic knitted it for her son several months ago. I think last December.

hi ! thanks for this lovely podcast. regarding your husband's hobbies, why don't you knit the bottom part (back and front) in round and then when you reach the sleeve decreases, you knit flat? that way you get rid of seaming the body, and have just the shoulders to sew. and you can do the same thing for the sleeves.

😂😂😂 you two have to do a podcast together. I'm working on my first pair of socks. Idk if I like it. The yarn is so thin

Haha. Logan's interruptions are kind of hilarious. Husbands... SMH. They're irritating AF but they definitely make life so much better. :) Love your videos girl. Keep it up.

One walk by was funny, but the second one made me think he needs to leave you alone when you're making your videos. It borders on disrespect. Beyond that, I enjoyed the video and subscribed so I am sure to see the rest of them.
